Reception could not have been more friendly. The innkeeper organized a battlefield certified guide for us and even offered her car for the tour. The room was spacious and very clean. Nice bathroom and great bed. Breakfast is limited to some fresh fruit and muffins. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The Inn at Lincoln Square may well be the best location of any hotel or B&B in town. Steps away from many great attractions and restaurants. The innkeeper, Jeannie, is exceptional. She is there to greet guests with a smile, is very cordial, and immediately responds to any needs or requests. Yes, the muffins are great. The rooms are spacious... More

Very quaint restored period location.(Still a work in progress per the owner, but, we were very pleased.) Perfect location at center of town. Excellent value. We arrived very late due to traffic snarl and the owner was very sweet about things. I would recommend owners establish a procedure for late arrivals. Since there's no central checkin place,it's a bit confusing.... More

I made a reservation for 2 rooms for 4 adults and the townhouse was recommended. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by innkeeper Jeannine who was wonderful. Our disappointment was learning we all had to share 1 bathroom and this was after we were charged an additional $50 union arrival due to what the innkeeper said was the web... More

There is a reason why this Inn has received so many excellent reviews. Location is great - within walking distance of numerous restaurants, shops and historical sites. We spent the weekend in the Irene Danner Suite - large, comfortable, and with a number of thoughtful touches. The clever hide-away kitchenette is a great addition. Jeannine, the innkeeper, was extremely helpful... More

Nice ambience, however for the price a Continental breakfast would have been worth the $200/night for 2 . That was disappointing. Fruit bowl nice but not sustsinable. Muffins the first day was cute, and welcoming.

My husband and I stayed in the Anne Danner suite for the weekend and it was well worth it! Great location right on the square, within walking distance to points of interest and restaurants in historic downtown. Inn keeper Janine was great!! Not enough can be said for the charm of the room itself...like stepping back in time with a... More

We were located right in the heart of Gettysburg, at the square. The building was old and made us feel like we were staying in a part of history, as we were! The room was quirky, being so old, but really a good kind of quirky. The gal that took care of us was beyond spectacular ... she even made... More

The Annie Danner suite was awesome! It is rustic and well maintained with a cute addition of fresh muffins and fruit for en suite breakfast. Be sure to take a tour with Tim... His history is just as interesting as the history of the town, but he won't offer it unless you ask. Highly recommend

When it's hard to find a place you think you will feel the comfort and welcome as the Inn at Lincoln Square, you just need to go back. So we did. It is in the heart of Gettysburg. and it IS the heart of Gettysburg. Thank you again, Jeannine. You always make it special.
