This spot is in a great location and has some cool features that my kids enjoyed, but the campsite itself was lacking. There were very small campsites that are not well marked or well kept, the fire rings were moved around so there were 2 on one site and none on another, and there were lots of permanent residents. The... More

We absolutely love Artillery Ridge Campground. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Campground is very clean and we love spending time here. The campground so close to all the Gettysburg attractions. What a great way to spend my Mother's Day weekend.

Campsites are poorly maintained. All of them are on a slope. Worst of all there is a dance club in the middle of the campground! The quiet hours arent until 11. Apparently that only applies to the campers because the DJ doesnt shut down until closer to midnight. We had the privilege of parking right under a streetlight. Also, this... More

Stayed at Artillery Ridge for two nights to ride our horses on the battlefield. The campground is large, well-organized, and nicely maintained. I rented one trailer site and a corral for my two horses. The paddock/corral area is well layed out with appropriate spacing between corrals. The corrals themselves are in good condition with four-board fencing. I did not rent... More

We had a wonderful stay at this campground. We stayed in a full service cabin and enjoyed it very much. It was quiet and located so close to everything. The horses are definitely part of this campground so if you don't enjoy that type of atmosphere, another campground may be a better choice for you.

Bought my first Class A motorhome and was looking for a place fairly close to home for my first "break-in" week. Artillery Ridge was an excellent place to start. Easy access from Rt. 30, nice long parking area in front of the pool where you can leave your rig while you check in. The ladies at the front desk were... More

We've stayed at this campground many times and always found the staff to be helpful and friendly; however, during our stay this Summer, in early July, the office manager was anything but what we have experienced in the past! She never seemed to have time to answer questions, seemed frustrated and harried, and at one point blurted out with "I... More

We spent 5 nights here in a motorhome. The WiFi was decent, the site fairly level, the park maintained well. The store is a lot larger than it looks and well stocked. There are a number of long term sites and everyone we met was friendly.

The experience was good from the phone reservation the check in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The campsites have full hook ups and the campground is very close to the battlefield and town. If we ever come back into this area we would definitely return here.
