The lots are gravel and not level, BUT you can manage nicely if you bring 1 or 2 boards. We always do that anyway. Depending on your site, you may be fine. It's a large campground so people are spread out and pretty quiet. The lots on the top are much nicer than the ones by the "stream". There's really... More

We have gone here the past 3 or 4 years to open the camping season as its fairly local. We usually stay in front of the pirate ship which keeps our children occupied with other children. The bathrooms are up a slight hill and steps. They are generally well maintained and decent size. The pool is nice (we were there... More

Visited on June 12th to 14th - we had a very nice site with ample trees/shade. It was the luau/pig roast weekend which they provided the pulled pork from the pig on site which we did not have to pay for just made a reservation and each camper had to bring along a side dish for everyone to share. Store... More

Just went June 2015 to Granite Hill! Our 1st time camping there. We had a great time with family! The campsites were really big which was nice and it was shaded really well which is a huge plus bc it was SUPER HOT this weekend...90's. Swimming pool was clean and a decent size (closes at 8 or 8:30pm so get... More

I have been attending the great bluegrass festival at Granite Hill Campground for 13 years. The natural amphitheater is perfect for this event and the family are the perfect hosts. The stage and sound system are top notch, as are the nationally known performers. The food and merchandise vendors are friendly and their offerings are varied. Access to the performers... More

We always have an enjoyable visit at Granite Hill Camping Resort. It is our favorite campground in the Gettysburg area. Our favorite site is B27, though there are many great sites throughout the campground. Granite Hill also offers one of the best bluegrass festivals, each May and August!

My husband and I bought a travel trailer and we keep it stored year-round at Granite Hill Campground and we have them haul it to a site when we want to camp (which is often!). It is so convenient! We have traveled to other local campgrounds, but we like this campground the best! It offers the most activities and live... More

I attended the Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival at the Granite Hill Camping Resort in May. It was my first time there I absolutely loved it. I've been to other festivals but I can honestly say that overall, it is the best festival I've ever been to. The size, the grounds, the venders, the band line-up and of course, the people. There... Sites are nice and wooded! Staff is friendly and very helpful, this being our first time camping they helped us get in the site with no problem! Seem to have a decent amount of events for kids, but not sure what other campgrounds offer since this was our first time.
