Our family of 4 wished to explore Gettysburg battlefields, so we chose to stay at Granite Hill Camping Resort. Overall, we enjoyed it very much. We had our car with us, as well, so we were able to drive the few miles needed to where the bus tours for the battle fields began, just on the other side of the... More

Good location. Close to town and battlefields. Not many 30 amp hook ups. Grass wasn't cut at our location. About 3 inches or higher. No cable. Nice pool area. Asked for a shaded spot. Guess no 30 amps get those. Will not return.

We loved Granite Hill. Very clean, easy to get to, nice level sites. There's something for everyone at this place. You can have a secluded site or one in a circle with friends. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bathhouses were clean. The grounds were well kept. We will definitely be going back.

This was a return visit, to stock up on the area wines. Plenty of daily activities for everyone, Local DJ Friday and Saturday. Mostly gravel roads, good drainage, well maintained. Sites a little close together for my liking (hence the 4 stars)

We enjoyed our stay very much. Our campsite was very central. A lot of activities were planned that were kid friendly. Bathrooms/ showers were ok, seen better but not the worst. Very affordable and great customer service!

I will tell you up front we chose this campground because it's prices were a few dollars lower than others in the area. However, what we got was a GREAT place to stay! We got a really large pull through site, and it was across from the main bathhouse - yes that is either good or bad, but for us,... More

Not a good first impression. Assigned a site that was not level and with many tree roots. Maintenance guy was rude and uncaring: doesn't need to work there (heard others complain about him as well). When I inquired about alternate sites, was told none were available (although the one next door and a nearby pull-thru were unoccupied during our four... More

This was our first time at this campground. We went Mother's Day weekend and it was not very busy at all. We camped in a full hook up site that was very spacious. We were not right on top of our neighbor. We ate at the snack shop and it was very pricey for not very. Would definitely not eat... More

I have stayed at Granite Hill every year for the past 3 years. Every year we reserve the same site lot # 118. Its a mostly level lot with trees and a small creek between our camp site and the Pool. The electric box on this site is not working properly. Electric flickers off quit often. Showers are difficult to... More

This is our second year here and once again the grass and areas around the site are not mowed or taken care off. We even switched sites and both years it was the same. Then over at swings and ball fields they mowed but left huge piles of grass clips everywhere. Thinking this is how we found ticks on or... More
