We actually didn't get to try the food because the restaurant had no record of our reservation. It was a busy Saturday night and they simply could not seat us. That is disappointing but understandable. It is, however, unforgivable to be called a liar by the manager who refused to believe we had actually made reservations.

I went here this summer with my family and this was the only haunted house tour we went on. It was very creepy and I was super petrified especially in the basement of the house lol my sister happened to sit right next to that door with a creepy mark on it and the door was slightly open ! Anyways... More

The whole place is great, but if your gonna spend a night its a whole different story. It was an extremely stuffy room and we were sweating to death.Had to hold the windows open wiht... More

We stayed at the Farnsworth House for our one year anniversary. When we arrived our room was not ready. It was two hours after check in time. We traveled 4 hours by car to get there and I was 6 months pregnant. When we did finally get into our room, the Lincoln room, the shower did not work. My husband... More

We stayed in the Custer Room. Cool and spooky. The inn is said to be haunted, wr had no scares, however. They do offer ghost tours and a seance. The restaurant is excellent, with 19th century dishes. Bullet holes on the building, testify to its use during the battle. Staff wears civil war era clothing. Check out the display in... More

Stayed at the Farnsworth House from January 10-12, 2015. We had 4 people in our party, so we got to enjoy 2 of the guest rooms. Our rooms were the Jeremy room and the McFarlane room. Jeremy's room was quaint and open, and filled with toys. The McFarlane room would best be described as CREEPY, but part of the fun.... More

My fiancé and I made reservations to stay at The Farnsworth for this past Christmas Eve. I was initially impressed that about a week before our stay we received a confirmation phone call, and another on the day of our trip to Gettysburg. We made reservations for The Custer Room, when we got there and our concierge "Tony" brought us... More

Stayed at the Farnsworth House one night for my niece's 16th birthday. We booked four rooms for our group of 8 (Sweeney, Eisenhower, Shultz and Jeremy). All the rooms are appointed with beautiful antique furniture and very comfortable bedding and excellent breakfast included. I was disappointed there was no bathroom door in the Sweeney room. The staff was very welcoming... More

We stayed her twice, once in Sara black room and once in Lincoln room, both rooms were OK. The best part of the hotel is going down in basement for stories. Also did and dinner were they talked about the town at war time, that's was good to.
