Second trip to Gettysburg, and the waitress remembered us! Melissa, our server remembered my drink order from over 3 months ago, now that's service! Always attentive, great personality and great service. Last time we ate outside, this time in the tavern. Both were amazing and the food is out of this world, especially the French onion soup. I couldn't stop... More

We stayed two nights in the house, specifically in the Sara Black room. The house itself was beautiful, and the room was incredible (except for the bed...ouch!!)! While I cannot say for sure if we experienced anything paranormal (we did have some questionable experiences), the trip to the Farnsworth House was definitely worth it and I would recommend it to... It felt like an immersion into that time era. It was very entertaining. The set up was also very well done. The layout out the inn was unique and set it apart from the rest. The room was very detailed, which was very nice. Sadly no ghostly apparitions, all in all still a nice place.

We eat in the bar at the back. Typically quiet and locals. Never ate here when it was busy. Great atmosphere, service is good prices are ok. Food is good, serving size smaller than normal but truly all you need. On display props from Gettysburg the movie.

What a stay! Yes, I am one of the thousands that came here for the paranormal atmosphere, but definitely left with much more. Arrival: Well, two days after my fiance and I got engaged on 7/12/15...SHE SAID YES!! (Sorry I'm still pumped), we booked a spook night, like ya do. Upon arrival, we did have a little trouble finding the... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Schultz room part of the original building, very Victorian era. It was really cool to stay at a place that has soooo much history to it. Its in walking distance of all of the shops and the square. If that wasn't enough, it was even cooler to stay in a haunted house

Loved the history of the building. Wait staff very friendly. The food was all delicious. (We ate in the dining area). Loved the Civil War period food/atmosphere. The pot pie and ham are both phenomenal. Will be back when in town.

If you want to feel the history surrounding you as you visit Gettysburg, then the Farnsworth House Inn is a good place to have dinner. Waiters are dressed in period clothes and the menu features some "Civil War" era food as well. We enjoyed the well appointed dining areas. The food was good and we really liked the unusual items... On a recent tour, we had an included three course meal here. The service was prompt, friendly and efficient, and the food was delicious. The steak That I had was huge, tender and cooked perfectly. We had a " retired union soldier " as an after dinner speaker and he was exceptional. It was a great meal and a great... More
