My wife and I stayed here for a couples weekend without the kids. Conveniently located, nicely arranged and completely charming. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the room was clean. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Would stay again.

We stayed at the bed and breakfast for three days during our honeymoon. You couldn't find a sweeter couple! Barb and Steve were so kind and accommodating! Each room is decorated in a different era, and you even have a retro kitchen to enjoy your breakfast in. The entire home is like a museum of American history. We also loved... More

A Sentimental Journey was a great choice for a visit to Gettysburg! Barabara was very accomodating with information about the area and our room was great! Would definitely recommend this property to anyone (single, couple, family) traveling to the Gettysburg area. Thank you!!

The owners, Steve and Barbara were just wonderful! This was our first experience at a Bed and Breakfast and we were extremely pleased. We stayed in the Beautiful Dreamer unit and it was perfect- like our own little apartment on the first floor. This Bed and Breakfast did not offer a full, hot breakfast but we loved the help yourself... More

This B&B is themed with different eras in American history, from the early 1900s to the 1950s. My husband and I stayed in a 1940s style room, called "String of Pearls." All the furniture was vintage, and I enjoyed having the vanity while I got ready for the day! There was a little private bathroom with curtains for a door,... More

I had a room with a cute bathroom and it was all decked out as if straight from the 1940's! The view was wonderful as it was just right inside downtown Gettysburg. It was a wonderful place to stay as the staff was super friendly and kind, and you had full use of their 1950's kitchen with so many amenities,... More

More

There were 3 of us travelling, and we had 2 bedrooms with a connecting bathroom. The rooms are all themed and filled with different ornaments / furniture in each one, some of which are pretty strange. (My Dads room had a plastic bird in a cage..). The location is in Gettysburg town centre where there are nice shops and restaurants,... More

Arrived a little bit later than planned, but the proprietor had endeavoured to get in touch with us to ensure everything was ok. A quick but thorough check in process, before being shown to our room. The room itself was possibly a little dated but this did not detract from its comfort and added to it's quirkiness. The self service... More

Driving in from DC caused us to check in later than expected. Barb waited around for us to show & was very helpful, even to the point of asking if she could help carry in luggage. Nice room and restful stay.
