Barb and Steve Schultz couldn't have been better host and hostess, the place was cozy and warm, the continental breakfast was great with plenty of selections. And thanks to them for loaning us the Auto Tour tape! We stayed in the WWI room upstairs and lucky us we has reenactors right outside out window during the stay!

What a nice home to be welcomed to when visiting Gettysburg. The rooms were lovely and clean, and gave you all the comforts of home that you would need. I thought the "kitchen" that gives you the ablity for a "midnight snack" or a drink, was a wonderful service to provide. I enjoyed the front porch and viewing the goins... More

I visited this b&b 6 years ago and said that if I ever went back to Gettysburg it would be my first choice. Nothing has changed it still has a quiet allure to it and the secret of a great b&b to me are the owners. Steve and Barbara are brilliant and I had the ground floor Beautiful Dreamer room.... More

I took my 6 year old and my mother in law and we booked the family suite. Great price, nice suite. Breakfast was mostly cereal and they had pie and muffins. The owners were lovely and just so nice. The other people starting there were great too. I only had one "issue". We couldn't open the windows in the rooms.... More

We stayed three nights while we visited the Gettysburg area. We actually stayed in two different rooms because there had been a little glitch in our reservation. Both rooms were very very clean, decorated with antiques and items reflecting the theme of the room. The breakfast area is a "do it yourself" feature with many choices for breakfast - cereal,... Quirky is how we would describe this place. Situated in the heart of town, it is an interesting building full of memorabilia from the Civil War onwards. In fact cluttered is a better expression. As a result, the place is none too clean. The Wi-Fi did not operate at all during our stay and other guests had the same experience.... More

This was a very nice bed and breakfast. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was much to see in the way of decorations and it was within walking distance of many of the attractions in Gettysburg. Breakfast was on your own but there was good coffee, donuts, cereals, and drinks provided in the kitchen. Clean towels were provided... More

Clean and period decorated (1930/40's). Great location easily within walking distance of most of the historic venues, shops and restaurants. There was a min-frig in our room which was nicely appointmented and each room has its own bathroom. I appreciate an informal breakfast where I can get what I want without having to dine and converse with strangers first thing in... More

I love this place. The owners make sure you are comfortable and cater to your needs. The decor is pure vintage with plenty to see when you're not on the battlefield. The furnishings are great, the front porch is a treasure to sit on.

I should have read the website a little more closely. I didn't realize that "The 24 hour continental breakfast room" meant that was the ONLY breakfast to be had at this B&B. The kitchen is stocked with a variety of coffees and teas, cold cereal, yogurt, some fruit [a box of peaches was rotting and had bugs, and a sell... More
