My husband and I stayed here for our trip to Gettysburg and could not have been happier! The owners, Barbara and Steve, are so very friendly and helped us with dining recommendations, directions and helpful hints. Our room, "The Age of Chivalry" was comfortable and looked out over a Union Encampment on the lawn and the historic Rupp House. The... More

Located in the historic village of Gettysburg, this hotel provides the opportunity to go back in time. Every hotel room has a different setting, varying from 1900 to 1950. Details are astonishing. The breakfast room although small continues to this pattern. Overall an experience worthwile.

I stayed here recently, and couldnt have been more satisfied. The cleanliness, charm, decor, and friendliness of the hosts, made this a memorable stay, and one worth reccomending to others. A perfect location for siteseeing, restaurants, and tourist attractions.

A charming bed and breakfast within walking distance to all the attractions. Very clean, the kitchen is open 24hrs, all kinds of snacks, drinks, breakfast foods, etc... The front porch is great to sit and relax after a day of sightseeing. A beautiful sitting room also. Barbara was very helpful and let us know of all the events and new... More

My family stayed here for 2 nights in July 2014. It was very clean and comfortable. We had the family suite. It was two rooms connected by a bathroom in the middle. The snack room was wonderful! This B&B was in easy walking distance of many shops, museums, and restaurants in Gettysburg. I definitely recommend the B&B.

I was drawn to this inn by the front porch. I was able to book at room for the night at the last minute, as I had decided to spend the night in town. I was treated like a king, even given a tour of the inn and the other rooms. The rooms, kitchen and all of my "temporary home"... More

My wife and I are very familiar with Gettysburg, but had never used a B&B before - we were so happy that our first experience was made such a pleasant and memorable one by Barbara and Steve Schultz at A Sentimental Journey. The "La Belle Epoque" room was quaint, quiet, and comfortable, and the entire weekend was a relaxing and... More

Thank you so much for a great experience staying at our first B and B! We stayed in the beautiful dreamer which was great for couples as it had a spacious room and private entrance. Will recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay on their visit to Gettysburg! - Jenny and Kevin H

My son and I stayed here a few weeks ago in the "String of Pearls" room. This B&B is centrally located among most of the Gettysburg sites, allowing us to go exploring and return for a quick snack. The bathroom was a bit small in this room, but it came with several table areas, a small fridge, wireless Internet, and... More

My husband and I stayed here this past week. We stayed in the World War I room which is a nice roomy room. The details of the time period are outstanding! The room looks out on the historical Rupp House next door-- and we were lucky to have a Confederate Encampment right outside our window over the weekend. The breakfast... More
