We felt as if we were really taken care of by dear friends. The room was big, beautiful decorated And spotless clean. The location great, on the rittenhouse square. The salon took care of me as if they knew me by heart. Diner was good, but maybe a little sweet for my taste. We are looking forward coming back.

Stayed at the Rittenhouse for one night. There was some confusion at the valet and we had to approach them indicating we would like the car valeted. Other than that the front desk was very helpful and welcoming. We had very little time to explore the hotel itself, spa and restaurant. The room was very clean and nice with a... More

My wife and I have stayed at many of Philadelphia's finest hotels. The Rittenhouse has, in our opinion, a slight edge. The location is great. The room was HUGE and well appointed. The service staff was friendly and very helpful. We will definitely come back.

Booked a night through the Amex Platinum travel program and received an upgrade at check-in to a suite on the top level. Kitchen was big with all upgraded appliances and a Keurig coffee maker, washer dryer in the bathroom and a nice sized bedroom. Definitely appreciated having the extra size to the room. Lacroix was fine for lunch and we... More

My husband and I spent a lovely evening in Philly at the Rittenhouse. We stayed in one of the residences, nice, but way more than we needed. The bath is in need of an upgrade, but the bed is extremely comfortable and we'll be back. Very close to shopping (walkable) and the arts district.

While we have fewer rooms in total than most hotels, there are several categories to choose from within the property. Your point on the bath rooms is well taken. We are actively looking at upgrading this important piece throughout as soon as possible. In the meantime, please continue to consider us your Philadelphia home. More

We loved our stay here. The service and the friendliness of the staff were the best part, followed by the hotel's great location. The room was spacious and comfy, and the food options and pool were great amenities. The only minor draw back was the dated bathrooms. The shower is tiny, and the tub is small and pointless. But overall,... More

The Rittenhouse hotel is a dated but charming 1950's property. We stayed in the one bedroom 850 sq feet suite which was very large and included a whole kitchen. However, it was slightly disappointing. the room was old, but not a charming old.Anyway, I have to warn you, the pictures are misleading. They show only the Park Suites, which we... More

Had not been to Philly for years and thought would try somewhere I had not stayed before. Welcome was insincere and felt like a recorded message. It was quite quick and the coolest thing is giving you keys which have your country of origin on it - neat. Room was quite large for a standard room and we had a... More

Love a lot about this grande dame hotel(great location, doormen, front desk, wait staff), but there are a few areas that need attention: breakfast quality needs a major upgrade in ingredient quality. In addition, turndown has become ho-hum and inconsistent: we all love a chocolate on our pillows, quiet music, refreshed bathrooms, dim lights every night. Every night please. Great... More

This was our 5th stay at The Rittenhouse Hotel and once again it did not disappoint. We had a beautiful room with a beautiful park view. For a special holiday treat there was peppermint hot chocolate in the lobby. Breakfast at Lacroix was delicious also. We will be back soon...
