My wife and I had a delayed flight and arrived shortly after 1:00 am. The door was locked so I rang the doorbell. The man watching the place came out and very rudely said: "Can't you read? You're supposed to text the number on the door." as he ripped one of the several signs off the door and pointed to... More

Large room but tiny bathroom. Good shower. Very clean. No refrigerator in the room but there is a coffee maker and one free bottle of water. One robe in the closet but another was provided when I asked. Wi-Fi works well. Enough elevators so you don't need to wait even when there is a conference. Reception staff helpful and friendly.... The best part about this hotel is that you can walk to all the historical landmarks and the price is right. The hotel is in an old building above a pub. The rooms are small but clean and there is no elevator. The bathroom is small and the sink is very low. There is no front desk. So you either... More

This hotel is in the historical district so it is within walking distance to everything you come here to see. The hotel is above a pub in a very old building. There are 4 floors but no elevator. The staff was very helpful but not always available right away. We had to wait outside to check in for several minutes... More

I don't understand the complaining from on some other reviews. This is a small property and as such does not have an elevator, large rooms, spa. etc, What it does have are clean comfortable rooms with the basic necessities - toiletries, hair fryer, iron and ironing board, flat screen TV, AC, and a mini fridge with COMPLIMENTARY BEVERAGES. In the... More

Hot hot hot with quite dirty very small and uncared for rooms. Overrated due to its "character". I had a coffee pot in my "suite" which was full of scale and generally it just feels dirty. Pillows appallingly thin and there is no elevator so lugging all of your luggage up to the 4th floor is a pain. I bumped... More

We booked this hotel because of the lower cost, and proximity to Independence Hall and other sites. We tried to contact the hotel before the 3 pm check-in time and got no answer. The person 'on site' really wasn't much help at all. It was a small room, but seemed okay until nightfall. The bar below stays open until 3... More

We stayed there April29,30. No question that the location is supreme, less than 5 mintues to all the major sites, and great dining, plus getting into and out of town. But, the hotel is a dump. I would have been okay with "funky" the price is right, but they aren't even trying to be hoteliers-they didn't clean the room after... More

Yes this is not a 4 star hotel and doesn't bill itself as such. However, it is the least expensive accommodation in Old City and usually in Center City. We have stayed here several times. The rooms are small but offer clean comfortable accommodations with flat screen TV, free Wifi, free soft beverages in mini-fridge, coffee and pastures in the... More

Stayed here because it was close to the reataurant we were meeting. This place is more like a hostel than an actual hotel. Too many items in disrepair to list and would have not been happy if I had my family with me. The only good thing I can say is that the location is great if you want to... More
