Good location, rooms are okay, staff is okay - but the room (and bothroom!) were not clean: hair from the previous (?!) guest in the shower, dust in the drawers etc. It could have beeb a nice stay there, but with this level of poor housekeeping it was not worth the price. I would not recommend this hotel.

More in the 3 1/2 star range. The hotel was under construction when I was there, so I can't comment on the amenities or lobby as those were not in service. Our experience at the Latham was excellent: Location: fine city neighborhood near almost everything we needed. Streets clean and safe, drop off smooth and helpful, valet parking convenient and timely (noted available public parking garages nearby for much less money, however). My son and I stayed here in March and we really enjoyed it. The room was very well kept, clean and quiet. Staff very nice as well. I'm sure when the renovations are completed, it will be even better. We'll definitely stay there again if we go back to Philly.

I stayed here before the recent renovations - always was a great deal & superb location near Rittenhouse Square. Updated rooms & public spaces now make this an even better find!
