The location of this hotel is great; can walk to many tourist sites. The staff is the best; fast, courteous and helpful with directions. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Only drawback was the noisy air conditioning system..

I stayed here for 3 days 8/27-30/15 for a conference that was being held at the Sheraton 3 blocks away. Not only was my rate $30/night cheaper that the discounted Sheraton rate, I had the advantage of the free breakfast & happy hour for which ES is known. The building is a dodecagon (12 sided) circular building with 28 stories.... More

There was nothing wrong with the hotel, nor was there anything about it to be strikingly different or better than any other. The location was good. You could walk to the Art Museum, Comcast Center, City Hall and many other points of interest easily enough. But if you have a rental, parking is valet only, and it is expensive at... More

We arrived Friday afternoon and left Sunday morning. This hotel is in a great location. We were able to walk to most of the attractions that we wanted to visit. The room gave us an excellent view and the staff were very courteous and accommodating to our needs.

The check in process was smooth and it's close to the train stops as well. I walks right over with no problem. The room was nice and clean and everything worked. The happy hour was fun and Darryl the bartender was very fun and welcomed me. It was free so it's another benefit of the embassy. I slept very well.... More

Great place to stay in Center City. We really appreciated the happy hour and continental breakfast in addition to everything. My only complaint is that the elevators are pretty slow for 20+ floors. Thankfully, we stayed on the 4th floor and could use the stairs. I would make a request to stay on a lower leveled floor next time. You... More

Being members of Hilton Honors and AAA we chose this hotel for its proximity to historical and culinary attractions we wished to visit. The hotel happens to be across the street from the Basilica where Pope Francis will say Mass this September and is within walking distance of many museums that can be visited using the Philadelphia pass. Take advantage... More

Stayed here for a weekend and the location is the best part of this hotel. Right in the museum district and a short walk to center city, you can see all the sights from here. Next high point was the staff. Courteous and helpful from check-I'm, to bell hops, to parking valets. We're very proactive and attentive. The downside is... More

Very, very spacious room. Overall very clean. Elevators were often slow despite the odd design of the building. Essentially there are 12 rooms or so on every floor and 3 elevators so they should respond quickly, but we often found our selves having to wait for elevators for 10 or more minutes. Also the parking was very expensive. It was... More

The hotel was old, but clean with some upgrades. Stayed in a suite. The sink in the main room leaked, which I think the maid (s) should have reported. I didn't want to report while we were gone because I didn't want any more people in the room. The bathroom door had a squeak - should have WD-40. Free breakfast... More
