Can't speak much to the location, but seeing as its Centre City and there's a bunch of hotels nearby, I think it's pretty prime. The hotel is cylinder shaped, 28 floors high. Two things strike you when you walk into the room -- 1) it's large as heck and 2) it's impossible to think of shape to describe the layout.... More

Stayed again at one of our favorite hotels in Philly, primarily because we were showing friends around the city who had never been here. We like it because it's a nice (0.7 mile) walk to the Art museum along Ben Franklin parkway, with Logan Circle and Rodin museum to see along the way. Not too far from city hall or... More

Took my daughter and her four friends to the Luke Bryan concert. I had a bedroom to get away just for me. the kids had the huge t.v. room to order take out at 1 am. T.G.I. Friday closes at one. The hotel has brochures for 24 hour delivery. The kids rented movies. They had a blast. The breakfast in... More

I do not know why anyone would stay at this hotel other than the fact they have big rooms. I thought the place was dirty, run down and needed work. The hotel had serious elevator problems...how bad? Well we spent most of our time waiting for the elevator to come up to our floor and when it did it was... More

Great room on the 26th floor! Aldene at the front desk was terrific. She was able to change our room to a king bed with no trouble at all and even upgraded us to the executive floor. What a pleasant stay and really warm treatment from the front desk--you don't see that at many hotels :-).

I used to love this hotel, right on Ben Franklin Parkway at the museums....big rooms, great location. Sadly, it was as dirty as a run down motel on a major highway in the common areas and had serious, serious elevator problems...how bad? They had to have staff on the first two floors to help people get elevators and not have... More

Loved my stay at this hotel! Staff was wonderful! It was extremely clean! Beware.. in addition to the room fee, there is a parking charge $40/night which I was unaware! Valet staff are very nice and helpful, respectful though!

Key Points: 1) This was originally an apartment building. It was not built per typical Embassy Suites specs. This accounts for why the breakfast area (in a TGI Fridays) was tough to navigate. 2) Most rooms adjoin an elevator. The floor layout is circular, and each floor has 12 suites. Picture a pre-sliced wheel (or cake) with 3 elevators as... More

Our stay here was not great. The hotel is in need of an update. The staff at the front desk were neither friendly nor helpful. The bartender at the reception in the evening was great but the snacks were very light. The breakfast was very disappointing. The serving area was dirty and the flow to get the food was horrible.... Located right in Logan Circle, it was the perfect base for exploring the city. The unique design of the hotel meant that the rooms were quite spacious, even if a little dated. The living area, complete with couches, TV, kitchenette, table and chairs, and desk were bigger than the living space in my apartment! The bed was also quite comfortable.... More
