From the second we pulled up to the B&B we knew we made the right choice. It's quaint and oh so charming! It felt great to step back in time, but have all modern conveniences. The staff is extremely pleasant and accommodating, breakfast is delicious, rooms are clean, comfortable, and wonderfully decorated, and the location just can't be beat. City... More

Four of us stayed here for two nights this week. You cannot beat the location if you want to be close to Independence Hall Park. We walked to it easily, and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. The service was very friendly. The continental breakfast that is served on weekdays was pretty substantial and there were warm, homemade scones... More

We found are room to be comfortable. Lots of pillows and extra blankets. The fireplace was nice. Loved the wine and cheese and warm cookies and hot chocolate before bed (Yummy) If we make it back to Philly well will stay there again. The breakfast was nice we were there during the week so we pasteries, fruit and yogurt. The... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here recently for a wedding, and had a relatively positive experience. Given the wide range of reviews on Tripadvisor, though, I thought I would add what I hope is a fairly even review of the stay. - Noise. Other people have mentioned the noise factor, and it is very noisy on the weekends (at least... More

My sister and I spent a night at the B&B. It was in a great location. The B&B is located in the historic neighborhood and there is plenty to see and do within walking distance. it's a block away from Penn's Landing to enjoy music events and walking distance to a diverse range of pubs, and restaurants. We dined at... More

I stayed at this B and B 2 years ago. After 2 nights on a hard bed and hard pillows (I asked if they had softer ones and she said they were all the same), I went home with a terrible neckache. It was also noisy outside after 11pm. Hopefully they have updated their pillows and bed since I've been... More

This review was posted over 2 years after the guest stayed at the Inn. During the time of her stay, the Inn was ran by a manager that is no longer with us. I have been the innkeeper since August of 2007, and since then, there have been a number of changes to the property, staff and amenities. We are... More

This b&b is in the perfect location for sightseeing, great restaurants and bars. The rooms are small but very charming. They provide wine and cheese in the evenings, and a wonderful cooked breakfast on weekends. The room was quite noisy as the bars let out. If you are sensitive to noise I would suggest staying earlier in the week. The... More

I was looking forward to staying in this historic hotel with my daughter for an extended weekend. Unfortunately it was so noisy from a nearby disco my daughter could not sleep and we had to spend most of the next day looking for a hotel for the next two nights. A suggestion was made by an assistant that we stuff... More

With much of the charm of the history in which is resides, the Thomas Bond House and staff are a great place to base a long weekend in Philly. Dan and Tim were extremely nice, the breakfasts outstanding, and the local wines gave each of our evenings out a proper send off. The room was perfectly attired and well-equipped with... More

My husband and I stayed at the Thomas Bond House on March 21, 2009. I can't say enough about this wonderful little inn. The place sparkles. The breakfast each morning is outstanding. Innkeepers Dan and Tim certainly know how to please a guest...beautiful little touches everywhere...fresh flowers...candles...the complimentary Chaddsford wine that was served was very good and perfect before stepping...
