Very nice historic property right in the heart of the historic district, near Independence hall. The staff is extremely welcoming & friendly. Weekend breakfast is excellent, the weekday breakfast is ok, though just a buffet. The room I stayedbin was quite large & well appointed, though most of the room was taken up by the two beds. Also space the... More

Due to weather concerns, I made a last-minute reservation to stay overnight near my place of business. From the ease of making the online reservation all the way through to check-out after breakfast the next day, my stay was facilitated by the lovely and welcoming innkeeper, Chrissy, and highlighted by the beauty of this historic house. My room was charming,... More

This historic building is in a great part of town, as many other reviewers have noted. How a guest responds to the quirks of the inn, many due to its age and protected status, will be subjective. For some a detail will be "charming"; for others, the same thing will be a leaky window necessitating a rolled-up towel to keep... More

We enjoyed our stay here, perfect location for seeing Philly. This historic home is a very well-priced option for the location. Excellent restaurants nearby (we loved Fork!). Small but well-planned rooms, very friendly staff who make sure you are comfortable.

The Thomas Bond House B and B turned out better than I could have imagined. This historic house is situated in a perfect location to see Philadelphia historic sites. The Innkeepers went out of their way to provide information about places to see and how to get there. The breakfast was great. The complimentary glass (or two) of wine in... More

My sister and I stayed at the Thomas Bond House during our annual "girls get away" and couldn't have been more pleased. The location is superb - in the Old City section of Philadelphia-close to many excellent restaurants and within easy walking distance of the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, etc. The inn itself is charming. While the room was a... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the B&b. The location was prefect (close to the subway system)! We stayed in the "pink" room (Phineas 303). Our room was very small but worth a stay. This B&B is an old colonial house and is located right in the thick of things. Our room on the highest floor was small but very nice. Be prepared to climb some steps, though. In contrast to many other B&Bs we've stayed, no cooked breakfast was served. However, breakfast was good and Chrissy, the inn keeper is a very good... More

Tina and Gunter: Chrissy and I appreciate your feedback. We enjoyed having you as our guests. During the week, we offer a continental "plus" breakfast. On the weekends, we do serve a hot breakfast.
