The staff are the nicest people ever and the historic home is beautiful. I stayed on the top floor to do some writing and it was perfect. The cookies in the evening are a lovely touch. I enloyed the climb up the stairs even - and the living room is charming. Thank you.

Thomas Bond House Bed & Breakfast is in old Philadelphia, next door to where William Penn's house once stood. The home has been refurbished to provide the amenities (great showers!) but hasn't lost its charm (old wood floors). Room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was ok, staff was Great.

My boyfriend and I had reservations at a nice restaurant in the city for our anniversary so we wanted to stay the night to make things more relaxing. The Thomas Bond House was just perfect for us!! Anthony is the nicest & coolest. He welcomed us with a glass of wine, awesome tips for new fun things around the quarter,... More

We made arrangements to stay here for one night and were not disappointed. We had a room on the second floor, I believe it was the Eldridge room at the far end of the hall. I was thrilled with the location because we were tired from traveling all day. Corinne welcomed us and showed us the common areas and our... More

This restored town home now serves as a bed and breakfast. During the week, the B&B serves a Continental Plus breakfast; during the weekend, they serve a full breakfast. The room rate depends on what room in the town house you pick. It is close to all the action associated with Independence National Historical Park; and, for a moment, you... More

My husband and I visited Philly for a wedding and spent three nights at this B&B and it was perfect on all counts! The public rooms were very welcoming and well-decorated with historical memorabilia and antiques, with comfortable chairs to lounge in while drinking coffee and reading the newspapers every morning. The breakfast was extraordinary! The complimentary wine in the... More

We stayed at the Thomas Bond House for 5 days and loved it. The building and decor have real character but the best bit is the really friendly welcome from the hosts Chrissie and Anthony. Our favourite part was the daily wine hour where you could chat to other interesting guests. Or if you wanted to skip it and have... More

Hi, Lucy. Thank you so much for the wonderful review! I loved getting to meet you and Max (especially in the mornings). I am so happy you enjoyed the Tall Ship Festival and your stay here. I hope Cape May was equally good to you. I hope to see you both on your next trip to the US! Chrissy More

We initially booked the Bond House due to its proximity to Independence Hall. What impressed us the most, however, was the Gluten Free food options and owner's hospitality. They prepared a Gluten Free breakfast, with GF French toast and 3 different GF pastries is impressive. And the regular French toast, Myeshia's recipe, is hands down the best that I have... More

I was surprised when we arrived as to how pleasant and welcoming the Bed and Breakfast was. I had my 2 middle school age grandchildren with me, who enjoyed their stay as well. Their favorite things were the lovely breakfast, and the "living room" set up with a chess set. The inn keeper was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with... More
