My husband, my sister and I have stayed in several bed and breakfasts around the US, this is the first one we stayed in I know I will never forget! Who else can say they stayed in a house Benjamin Franklin was in! The hostess was very nice and helped us carry out bags to the 4th floor and definitely... More

This was our second trip to the Bond House this year. It would be hard to imagine having to stay anywhere else. Chrissy the innkeeper , Andrew, and her staff are amazing. From the moment you walk thru the front entrance you are treated like family. Anything you need and great advice on the sites and restaurants are for the... More

The Thomas Bond House is right across the street from the City Tavern on 2nd St in the historic district of Philadelphia. Anthony is one of the new owners and he is a very kind, and attentive to his guests. The rooms are small, but everything is beautifully appointed. We enjoyed the early evening complimentary wine, and the hot breakfast... More

Chrissy and I really appreciate your kind remarks. As much as I would love to say that I am one of the new owners of The Thomas House, Chrissy and I are the new innkeepers. The National Park Service actually owns the building. If you are ever visiting Philly from Massachusetts again, please don't hesitate to contact us. It was... More

Our greeting from innkeeper Chrissy at the Thomas Bond House B&B set the great tone for our stay. Service was excellent, particularly regarding dietary needs. OUTSTANDING LOCATION - Thomas Bond House is very well situated for visting the original and historic area of Philadelphia. It literally is right at the edge of the Independence National Historical Park, and is two... More

Thank you so much for your kind words! I was hoping you would be so kind as to let me know which room you were staying in. I do not want to provide uncomfortable beds or pillows, so I would like to replace the bed and pillows in that room. Since I have a room on the first floor, I... More

I stayed here with three other girls for a girls weekend of food and sightseeing. We only wanted to stay within the Olde Town neighborhood so the location of this historic B&B was perfect. The two caretakers and the kitchen staff do an outstanding job of making everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Evening wine tasting, excellent breakfasts, warm cookies, and... More

The staff of the inn really appreciates your comments. We are glad that you and your friends enjoyed Old City and the inn. Updating the bathrooms is one of our plans for the near future. If you are in Philadelphia again, we hope you visit us again and check out the renovations first hand. Anthony More

My husband and I had a great stay at the Thomas Bond House last night. We had a one night visit and it was a great central location - plenty of restaurants and historic sights in walking distance. The Inn was very nice, some things need updating but overall really comfortable. The inn keepers couldn't have been nicer, we felt... More

This B&B is in an excellent location for dining and tourism in the Colonial heart of Center City Philadelphia. Rooms are quite small, but comfortable, and there wasn't any noise overnight. Staff (Anthony and Chrissy) were outstanding--friendly and very helpful. In the morning, a very satisfactory array of continental breakfast items were laid out--fruit, yogurt, muffins, cereals, hard boiled eggs,... More

Location was the high point here as well as the staff which were very friendly and inviting. The breakfast was very nice as well and was prepared very quickly upon request. The accommodations we opted for where on the small side, but given this is a colonial building it is what it is.

Chrisey was wonderful and super attentive. The... More

Thank you so much for the kind words! I so enjoyed meeting you and your wife. Distracting you while you tried to work was informative and entertaining, and your mission for free parking was quite impressive.
