Indeed, one of the best B and B that we've stayed in. We were a big group, six couples altogether. We had a blast this past weekend. Thanks to Anthony, very accommodating, helpful host. Lovely breakfast. Great location, in the middle of rows and rows of restaurants and Bars. Thank you, Anthony.

Great B&B with the best innkeepers by far of any B&B stayed at. Chrisie and Anthony cheerful, efficient, helpful and great people overall. The location of the B&B perfect, 3 blocks from Independence Hall. is ideal for walking tours of the historic area. Thomas Bond House built circ 1767 has a lot of character and is furnished appropriately to that... More

We live in the suburbs and traveled to Philly for a weekend getaway to celebrate several birthdays. Chrissy, Anthony, and the rest of the staff could not be more kind, accommodating or helpful! My sibling is vegan and not only did they have a hot breakfast option, but offered several places within walking distance for other meals, Farmica and Kyber... More

I came off of a red-eye flight to Philly for a funeral the next day and the proprietor, Anthony, assured me the quietest room, greeted me at an ungodly hour and ushered me up the staircase carrying my bags. He continued to be solicitous and very helpful. At breakfast, which was ample--eggs, sausage, potatoes, fruit, assorted breads, juices, coffee--he gave... More

Very nice historic property right in the heart of the historic district, near Independence hall. The staff is extremely welcoming & friendly. Weekend breakfast is excellent, the weekday breakfast is ok, though just a buffet. The room I stayedbin was quite large & well appointed, though most of the room was taken up by the two beds. Also space the... More

Due to weather concerns, I made a last-minute reservation to stay overnight near my place of business. From the ease of making the online reservation all the way through to check-out after breakfast the next day, my stay was facilitated by the lovely and welcoming innkeeper, Chrissy, and highlighted by the beauty of this historic house. My room was charming,... More

This historic building is in a great part of town, as many other reviewers have noted. How a guest responds to the quirks of the inn, many due to its age and protected status, will be subjective. For some a detail will be "charming"; for others, the same thing will be a leaky window necessitating a rolled-up towel to keep... More

It was such a pleasure to meet you and your husband, Claudia. I am so sorry you did not enjoy yourselves more. We enjoyed our stay here, perfect location for seeing Philly. This historic home is a very well-priced option for the location. Excellent restaurants nearby (we loved Fork!). Small but well-planned rooms, very friendly staff who make sure you are comfortable.
