This hotel is located right near the historic area of town. The location could not be more perfect. Everything we wanted to see was a short walk away. This was nice since we were traveling with a 9 and 11 year old. There was a pizza place that had pizza for the kids just a few buildings toward the river.... more

This is a great family hotel. Our kids loved that each morning they could go and make their own breakfast. They loved the liberty bell waffles. Which were truly great since we were going to see the Liberty Bell. Our rooms were wonderful and clean and the service was excellent. The hotel is close to all the sites we wanted... more

This was a great hotel for location and convenience but we found once we got back that that a couple of our credit card numbers were stolen and used in the area the weekend we were there. The cards never left the room so hotel staff who came in took the information. So if you plan on staying here, do... more

This was my first time in Philadelphia. I was attending a USDA Graduate Training Session. When I made my reservations, I was not ever told that the hotel did not have on site parking, but it is 1.5 blocks away from the hotel. My window was a view of a BRICK WALL. The room was very small and the bathroom... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for New Year's Eve in Philadelphia and had a great time. Every member of the staff we spoke to at all shifts was friendly and helpful, with the evening staff even pulling strings at Spazzo to get us a last-minute table. The rooms are small, yes, but they are clean and in very good... more

I have never walked out of a hotel, and I travel frequently with my family. This was the worst experience. Briefly, I booked online, thinking I was getting 2 queen beds for my son and myself. When I checked in, the room had 1 bed, and the room was miniture, 8 ft by 9 ft. I approached the clerk at... more

This hotel was DIRECTLY in the middle off all the historic sights. Everything was within walking distance and just right there. Several good resturants nearby and plenty of nightlife should you want it. Perfect location, super staff, nice breakfast each morning, can't say enough! If you want to see ALL the history of Philly, stay here. more

I often visit Philadelphia and usually stay at the larger hotels like Sheraton or Hyatt, but since I wanted to save a few bucks I selected the Independence Park Best Western Hotel. And while I save over $50 over my previous hotels, I would return if the prices were equal. I really enjoyed the helpful and personal staff on the... more

The room was very nice. King bed, comfortable, nicely laid out. Even though the elevator was right across from my room, I didn't hear it. However, I DID hear the vacuum cleaner the next morning! Being a night owl, I sleep in a little later than the rest of the populace. I usually get up around noon, but that is... more

I visit Philadelphia often and usually stay in the business district. I tried this boutique hotel that a colleague recommended and it was great. WHAT A FIND! When I called in to make my reservation the reservation person actually got me excited about coming back. When I arrived at the hotel I recognized the front desk persons voice and surprized... more
