A great location walking distance to Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell Center. The hotel is quaint, rooms on the small side and a boutique size lobby. The staff were excellent and very accommodating. There is currently construction going on across the street but it did not interfere with our sleep. The central location and many great restaurants nearby makes... More

We stayed at the Independence Park Hotel during a mini vacation as a married couple in our 30's and loved it. The hotel is clean, quaint and very well kept for an older building. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Many restaurants, coffee houses, shops, and attractions are within walking distance. We will definitely stay here the next time... More

Great location!!! Is walking distance to historic district just two blocks away. Room on 4th floor was quiet. Breakfeast was adequate with your normal hotel type food. Staff was friendly Unloading bags in the street was a bit difficult but manageable Nothing wrong with this hotel and would stay there again.

My son (14 yr old) and I were in Philadelphia for 4 days. The location is great base while visiting historical sites. The complimentary breakfast was adequate for our needs. The front desk staff were beyond helpful. We had a VERY EARLY flight leaving Philly and the staff made sure that our cab was ready and waiting for us when... More

Way above your average Best Western. Love the antique styling in the lobby and rooms. Still have the BW amenities like a refrigerator in room and free breakfast. Can't beat the location with safety and convenience to both Independence Hall and South Street. One block from public transit. Free wifi was nice, but not terribly reliable. Overall, really a great... More

Everyone I dealt with at the hotel was very kind and personable. The hotel is close to everything, with food, shopping and historic sites all nearby. Despite being in the middle of a city with an active nightlife, it is very quiet inside the hotel. If driving in, expect to park at a garage a block away. There are special... More

This was an excellent location for seeing everything downtown. Very charming hotel with lots of details. The service was excellent. Loved the afternoon tea and cookies, except they could have had cold tea, not hot. The breakfast was very good. My husband's only comment was that they didn't have hot oatmeal. Our room seemed small for a queen bed but... More

What a beautifully renovated historic hotel! My husband and I stayed overnight in Feb 2015. Sadly construction was on Chestnut in front of hotel. However, the staff was prompt once called and ran out our free parking pass to use! They also offered to bring in our luggage while we parked. Fresh coffee and fruit and cookies in lobby. So... This is our second time (mom and 2 teen boys) staying at this Hotel in Philadelphia. Love the location. If we need the car it is very easy to get to at the close by parking lot and reasonable nightly rate. The staff at front desk very helpful with dinner ideas and places to visit. Breakfast is fun for kids... More

Excellent location for visiting historical Philadelphia and proximity to restaurants in the Front Street area. We parked our car in the lot provided around the block. Parking was $16/ night. We did not move our car during our entire stay. Biggest plus: we booked a room that overlooked the atrium courtyard which made the room totally insulated from any street... More
