Historic Boutique Hotel one block from Washington Square. Walk to everything. Family of three was very comfortable in one of the large rooms. Stayed for July Fourth holiday. Staff was very accommodating.

I've stayed at Morris House several times now within a year and each time it's been a great experience. The staff is very accommodating and the rooms always spotless. This BnB is more of a home than a hotel which is more pleasant than big obnoxious corporate hotels.

This is a wonderful historic property with pleasant, attentive staff; the experience is rather compromised by incredibly ugly paintings - almost caricatures - that appear on the walls throughout the public areas. These images are so jarring in the otherwise serene 18th-century rooms that they actually cause you to wince and look away. Also, make sure there is not an... More

Morris House is a historic building that is within walking distance of the Liberty Bell, etc. It is a fabulous find. The breakfasts are very good. Eating in the lovely garden is special. The staff bends over backwards to make the stay pleasant. I cannot think of a better location in Philadelphia. On top of that the building is the... More

Stayed 2 nights in Room 502. Very nice accommodations, nice sized bathroom, living room and bedroom. Location perfect for touring all of Old City and main attractions on foot. A very nice continental breakfast was included. Overall, a very pleasant and welcoming stay, would highly recommend.

You take a very comfortable walk back in time to the eighteen hundreds to the brick house of Samuel Morris. You walk in at 3pm to warm cookies and tea. You sounder over to their restaurant next to the courtyard for a complimentary glass of wine between 4-5pm. You have 3 small plates for dinner in the covered courtyard. It... More

Morris House is a gorgeous historic house filled with antiques and charm. The accomodations were exactly as described on their website and the warm welcome and hospitality I received when I arrived could not have been better. Simply charming, peaceful and quiet. I will surely stay again on my next trip.

This place is located in Washington, Square. A real neighborhood feel in this part of the city. The room was large and private. The staff was very friendly. It was quite historic. The price was excellent for the location. You can walk to places all over the city (unless you are one of those people who always complain about having... More

I stayed at The Morris House Hotel with my husband for our anniversary. The staff was super friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The best part of the experience was dinner we had in the courtyard. It was a little pricey but definitely worth the cost for a special occasion.

The most amazing place I have ever been!!!  The staff was what really made this place, very happy and always helpful. We've stayed at the Morris House Hotel on several occasions and have never been disappointed with the impeccable service by the staff, the comfort of the rooms, or the beauty of the garden, complimentary wine hour, great food, very...
