My husband and I stayed here during a house-hunting trip to Philadelphia. This hotel is gorgeous. Great, well-decorated rooms, a super-comfortable bed, and a great soaker tub (separate from the shower in our room). It's in a great location if you are sight-seeing and the free coffee in the morning and wine in the evening is a nice touch. I... More

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Monaco about a month ago for a mini-vacation. This hotel was amazing, and it could not be in a more perfect location; we were just walking distance from all of the historic sites, like the Liberty Bell, Betty Ross's house, etc. We were also just a couple of blocks from "Jones" (a... Beautiful rooms with European style. Free wine tastings in the evening were a delight. Octavia was extremely helpful with getting us reservations at the Oyster House and Bob the hotel manager was a very pleasant host. Would recommend this hotel.

This is a fun hotel--interesting looking, not cookie cutter. Great view of Independence Hall. I had 2 bad room service experiences. When I checked in it was just after the main menu stopped serving. I tried to order from the late night menu-- 1/2 of it was "unavailable". When it came (a grilled cheese sandwich) the cheese was hard to... More

This hotel is directly across from Independence Hall and within walking distance of some delightful restaurants. The hotel has an excellent staff (special props to Brian and the concierge staff for some top-notch recommendations), a quirky decor, huge rooms, and the can't-be-beat Kimpton InTouch membership perks. The wine hour was delightful--yummy strawberry sangria! I will definitely stay here again!

Only stayed one night on a business trip. Main impression is of outstanding staff attitude and performance. Everyone seemed to go out of their way to be helpful, giving advice and answering questions and always with a smile. When I went to the front desk to ask where to go to print my boarding pass she offered to do it... More

The Hotel Monaco Philadelphia has a perfect location, across the street from Independence National Historic Park, in a beautifully restored landmark building. The hotel has Kimpton's typical bold design and decor. What makes the hotel truly outstanding is its wonderful staff (Rasheed in particular), who are always willing to go far out of their way to make a guest's stay... More

This was the best location for us to stay. It is in walking distance to many places. In fact Saturday we didn't use public transportation, we just walked everywhere. Our room overlooked the park and was gorgeous. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the rooms (albeit upgraded) were still on the small side. The decor... More

this hotel has a perfect location next to the liberty bell in downtown Philadelphia. The rooms are stylish and comfortable and the hotel staff is very helpfull and professional. If you are looking for a hip bar and good drinks I can only recommend the roof top bar Stratus at the Monaco Hotel

There are not many Center City hotels you check into & hug the door man & bell man! This was our 4th trip to Monaco & on arrival both Sean, Roshed & the other tall door man (I can't remember his name) remembered us. They are all such great ambassadors for a great hotel. Once Rashed knew we were there,... More
