We were headed to a wedding in Cinnamonson, NJ and on our way back home, we decided to make a mini vacation out of our weekend trip. We searched and searched and we didn't want another corporate hotel experience, so we stumbled upon the quaint little B&B. Upon entering we were greeted by Dennis and Chris a lovely father and... Upon arriving in Philadelphia with a bad taste in our mouth with an experience with a Westin in New Jersey, my boyfriend and I were ready for something different. We called ahead to the Cornerstone and immediately felt reassured about our stay. We were greeted with the smell of fresh baked goods and a smile. Our room was very clean... More

This is an absolutely wonderful B&B. It is owned and runned by a lovely extended, family. They really go beyond the call of duty to make you feel welcome! The building itself dates from 1871. It is lovely with the original, beautiful stained glass windows. iIf you wish to splurge, the suite on the top floor has a whirlpool tub... More

We went to Philadelphia to see an exhibit at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and had the pleasure of staying at the Cornerstone B & B. The Cornerstone is run by a family and the family members we met could not have been nicer and made my wife and I and our two dogs feel welcome. We stayed in the... More

Wonderful stay, and the house is an easy walk from the Amtrak station (if you're a New Yorker and enjoy walking). Stayed on the top floor with our 2-year old and it couldn't have been easier! Clean, newly renovated rooms - not overly "designed," but comfortable.

Picked Cornerstone B&B for a last-minute road trip to Adventure Aquarium with our baby and a friend. I booked the Continental Suite which had 2 bed rooms, a small living room and well, a play yard for baby. Just serve the needs of all 4 of us! The room and beds were clean and the bathroom was spacious. We didn't... More

Everything was delightful during our stay. We could not have asked for more. Very clean and comfortable, while still being a historic home. The house is very homey and we felt safe inside and out. The owners were helpful and nice. Breakfast was just right-Saturday included the best pancakes we have ever eaten.

On the edge of Drexel University lies a beautiful Victorian home that Innkeepers Dennis and Liz Bartelme open up to guests. Cornerstone B & B is as beautiful outside as is inside. Liz greeted us kindly, informed us of the accommodations, and how best attack our quest on the Drexel campus. Peaceful rest, clean bathrooms, wonderful linen, and a breakfast... More

Located in the university section of Philadelphia, the Cornerstone B&B is not far from any of the major attractions. Less than a mile from the Museum of Art, Franklin Insitute, Barnes, & Rodin Museums it was a wonderful place to stay. We stayed in the Philadelphian room which as 3 beautiful stained glass windows opposite the king bed. Bed was... More
