We recently were back in Philadelphia for a large event at the Union League. The League itself is a most impressive structure and is chock-full history and elegant, old-world decor. Walking its spacious halls and rooms is, indeed, quite an experience that one shouldn’t miss if you have the chance. Attached to the League is its hotel, the Inn at... More

This is a first class establishment in a private city club where guests enjoy a friendly staff, reasonable prices for spacious rooms that feature Gilchrist & Soammes lotions, soaps and shampoos as well as several outsanding restaruants and lounges available to guests at the Inn. An extensive complimentary breakfast is included in the Founders Room from 7-10 am on weekdays... More

Ascend the steps of the historic Union League and step into history. The inn has classic elegance, but the rooms are larger than historically possible. Key location, unfortunately street noises are unavoidable and may disturb your sleep - even though the bed is great. Staff is attentive and respectful. Look around and notice the special touches and enjoy your journey.

This private club is like stepping back in time. Staff and accommodations are very old school and first class. The only food I can review was the (included) breakfast buffet: outstanding. Excellent cigar lounge...just remember to bring a jacket or one will be supplied. Complimentary parking in garage 40 feet from side door at 1415 Sansom Street.

I had a great experience at the union league. Great staff that were very helpful, I got to my room and my keys didn't work, which seems to happen at about 20% of my hotel stays. The housekeeper let me in and called the front desk to have them bring new keys up to me. In other hotels when this... More

Overall the room was an average hotel room, nothing worthwhile. However my wife accidently left her purse in the room and luckily the next day room service called and was able to meet her outside the Union League to give it back to her. Nothing was missing or taken and they were very courteous and friendly.

After a grueling day, checking in at the Inn at the Union League is the beginning of a memorable experience. We always are greeted by smiles and courtesy. Unfailing politeness is the standard of everyone at the Inn and includes the rest of the wonderful facilities: the bar, the restaurant, and the rooms. We snuggle in our robes in our... More

Spent several nights through an introduction my club, but have learned that the inn/hotel is open to the general public. Incredibly convenient location with garage across the street (the valets refuse tips, a first). Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are comfortable. The club's public rooms and restaurants are just spectacular. They have done a great job of updating... More

we stayed at the Inn for 2 nights during our friends wedding. Reception was held here - cocktails and canapés in the cozy libraries on the second floor, then into the spectacularly grand, chandelier- encrusted Lincoln Hall for the reception for 280 guests. everything ran smoothly, food was delicious, including the desserts that were served in the adjoiningPresidents room. We... More

We spent two nights here with a letter of introduction from our club. The public spaces are spectacular. Loved the old world charm and history of the place. It is so deserving of its'5 diamond rating. The rooms were not large but very comfortable. The bathrooms were quite large with great showers and big thick towels and the closets were... More
