We had the opportunity to stay at The Inn at the Union League of Philadelphia and it was fantastic. We stayed 5 nights and it is not all about the room. The room was very good, totally adequate and comfortable with king bed, desk, wifi, water, large screen lcd tv, good cable, washroom with pedestal sink and good bathtub with... More

Because I was sharing a room with a colleague while we were attending a professional meeting at the Pennsylvania Convention Center (and he belongs to a club with a reciprocal arrangement), I had a chance to stay here. It seemed like a 5-10 minute walk to the convention center and about the same distance to Suburban Station (which has trains... More

Since this has been primarily a men's only establishment until recently, the hotel should invest in providing accommodations that would be beneficial to female travelers. My room was a decent size, however the bed was placed right in front of the door, open the door take two steps and you are at the side of the bed. The bathroom was... More

Out of this world service, accommodations, and location. Out "Ritzes" the Ritz! Everyone goes out of the way to make you feel comfortable. Five Stars at least. My nephew is a member and in talking with other guest the service is superb for all guests. Rooms are large with ample closets' Each floor has a coffee bar with snacks from... More

I’ve been to quite a few urban clubs, and many are pretty lux, but it’s hard to beat the Union League of Philadelphia for postbellum style. The club has a great location right on South Broad Street near City Hall, and has a beautiful 1865 entrance (plus another great entrance opposite on South 15th Street). The club and Inn are... More

The Union League is an old money, blue blood club in the heart of downtown Philadelphia. I happened to be attending a meeting at the Union League, so it made logical sense to stay within the club at their Inn. A one minute walk from my room to the meeting venue downstairs was super convenient. The hotel room was large... More

This is a lovely, older hotel with a great buffet breakfast. It is well located in the heart of Philadelphia. Unfortunately, during our recent stay, we had a room facing the street and a jazz club. In all of our years of traveling, it was the noisiest hotel ever. The noise from the club kept us up until nearly 2AM.... More

Amazing architecture, amazing history, amazing location, amazing staff, amazing restaurants, amazing wine list, amazing food, amazing cigar bar!!!! Need I say more? Seriously, they have a commercial kitchen, which you can view through a window on Sansom St. where they bake their own breads and breakfast buns! They even have a pastry chef. The rooms are commodious and well appointed.... More

Our room the night of June 28, 2014 was lovely and we were having a great time, with exceptional food and service, at a party in one of the Union League’s event rooms. About 9:30, on my way to the ladies room, I fell and was suddenly on the floor in extreme pain. A fellow guest, a wonderful ER doctor,... More

Spotless accommodation with an extraordinarily comfortable bed. A bathroom that was enormous with just the right number of towels. Not at all ostentatious. I would definitely recommend staying here to all.
