This is a very old building but with lots of old world charm. I was here for an annual meeting flying in from California. It is a private club but allows you to book rooms and then make other services available to you. You must wear a tie and jacket in the dinning rooms but being from an informal part... More

My wife and I stayed at the Union League over Columbus weekend in 2015. The League boasts an impressive history, and has an even more impressive reputation as a private club. The Inn delivers on luxury and amenities. Breakfast is included with your stay, as well as a snack and coffee bar on the second floor. Our room was well... More

I wavered about giving this only 2 stars... I'd split the difference and say 2.5. I am absolutely perplexed how people describe this as "luxury." Sure, the building/dining areas themselves are pretty cool because of the historical nature and really conservative old-school design/woodworking. But I regretted booking the hotel -- it was a conference hotel -- as soon as I... More

My family and I stayed at the Union League for a family wedding. The accommodations were great, however it was the staff that made the stay memorable. The front desk clerk helped us with getting us a room that could hold five people, we originally thought it was only going to be my wife and I but our sitter fell... More

My wife and I stayed here overnight after a friends birthday celebration. The room was very nice. There were 2 queen beds, a mini fridge, a personal coffee maker, and a 32" flat screen. The tv had only a few channels, but we weren't there for tv. The free wifi made finding destinations easy. The staff was very nice and... More

The Union League is in a great location, very central. The building is classically elegant. Rooms are comfortable but nothing great. Price is reasonable given the type of property and location. The club facilities and gym are great, just make sure to be dressed appropriately for the club.

I would have given The Inn at The Union League 5 stars if it weren't for the noise at night... I quickly discovered why there were ear plugs in my room. I know that the noise had to do with being in the city, but it was rough to sleep. I think we stayed on the extra noisy side where... More

I stayed in this hotel for two nights. The first thing that met my eyes were the earplugs in the bathroom when arriving; after the first night, I knew why. The noise level in this hotel is quite high, a noise insulation is not in place. You also hear everything that happens on the floor, including the elevator. The hotel... More

We attended an event there and stayed the night. The room was lovely, spotless and included a delicious full breakfast. The building's and club's history, paintings and public areas are dynamic. All culminated in a quiet hour reading in the unforgettable library! Please do your research and stay there!

I recently attended a tasting event @ the Union League. I asked the organizer of the event to recommend a nearby hotel and she suggested we stay there - I had no idea there was a hotel. It had been completely full the night before but the receptionist Maggie suggested that if we had time to wait for a room... More
