Here on business. The location is quite convenient for doing business in downtown Philadelphia. My room was spacious and clean. However, the room did need some updating - especially the carpet. If you are going to garage a car, be aware the parking garage is before the hotel on a one-way street. Easy to miss.

This room was perfect. The bed was big and plush and there were plenty of pillows - I didn't want to leave it in the morning. The room and bathroom were spotless and a terry cloth robe is available for use. Free bottled water in the mini-fridge and flat screen TV. Up to date furnishings and window treatments. I would... My wife & I stayed at the Inn at The Union League for 4 nights while visiting Art Museums in Philadelphia. The Union League is a private club centrally located in Philadelphia. The rooms have an elegant decor and the building has an Old World feel. Our room had a coffee maker, iron & hair dryer for our use. The... More

Every time I come into Philly this is where I stay. Cannot beat the location or the service. Food is unbelievable. 1/2 block to subway & if you're in town for a football weekend or any sports event it is 10 minutes by direct subway line to the Bank or the Linc. Short walk to Rittenhouse Square & all the... More

We recently were back in Philadelphia for a large event at the Union League. The League itself is a most impressive structure and is chock-full history and elegant, old-world decor. Walking its spacious halls and rooms is, indeed, quite an experience that one shouldn’t miss if you have the chance. Attached to the League is its hotel, the Inn at... More

This is a first class establishment in a private city club where guests enjoy a friendly staff, reasonable prices for spacious rooms that feature Gilchrist & Soammes lotions, soaps and shampoos as well as several outsanding restaruants and lounges available to guests at the Inn. An extensive complimentary breakfast is included in the Founders Room from 7-10 am on weekdays... More

Ascend the steps of the historic Union League and step into history. The inn has classic elegance, but the rooms are larger than historically possible. Key location, unfortunately street noises are unavoidable and may disturb your sleep - even though the bed is great. Staff is attentive and respectful. Look around and notice the special touches and enjoy your journey.

This private club is like stepping back in time. Staff and accommodations are very old school and first class. The only food I can review was the (included) breakfast buffet: outstanding. Excellent cigar lounge...just remember to bring a jacket or one will be supplied. Complimentary parking in garage 40 feet from side door at 1415 Sansom Street.

I had a great experience at the union league. Great staff that were very helpful, I got to my room and my keys didn't work, which seems to happen at about 20% of my hotel stays. The housekeeper let me in and called the front desk to have them bring new keys up to me. In other hotels when this... More

Overall the room was an average hotel room, nothing worthwhile. However my wife accidently left her purse in the room and luckily the next day room service called and was able to meet her outside the Union League to give it back to her. Nothing was missing or taken and they were very courteous and friendly.
