This was my first stay at a Residence Inn and definitely not my last! It's more of a long term rental but I think a great alternative to even a hotel suite. ATMOSPHERE: It's a simple lobby area, but what makes this place shine are the location, amenities, and rooms. It's located near City Hall, meaning close to the SEPTA... More

I stayed here for a business trip because my usual choices were sold out. The one bedroom suite was functional but a limitless small and dated. The service was fine and the free breakfast $ evening snack were a nice bonus. The rate was comparable to the full service hotel rates I usually pay so it was a decent value... More

Arrived early and they got us into an upgraded room 5.5 hours early. Hotel staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Room was very clean and comfortable. We look forward to returning to this hotel next time we are in Philadelphia. The location was convenient and close to Reading Terminal Market. Also a nice walk to local neighborhoods and attractions. Great location and value. There was not one unfriendly face. The staff went out of their way to make my 80 year old mother comfortable and to feel special. The breakfast dining staff and cooks were very engaging. The front desk staff and porters were very attentive. Housekeeping responded quickly to our needs. Overall, for the dollars, we were very... This is about 25 stories and airconditioned. Kitchen facility hotel with all windows closed. The air quality inside the building was suffocating. The comforter was not enclosed in a duvet. The comforters are not washed for every guest and not enclosing in a cover is a hygiene violation. The location is very good and the exterior looks good.

Dear jajacob, Thank you for taking the time in filling out comments regarding your stay at the hotel. Unfortunately when the hotel was built it didn't have the ability to have windows that opened due to being a 26 story hotel. Very sorry that you felt the air quality was not so good. All of the linen is sent out... More

Stayed here for a week and service was fantastic. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast and evening meals were great. Great location for seeing all the rich history of the city. Could walk to almost anywhere in the city.

This hotel was pretty much what I expected of it, the room was a nice small room without the full kitchen (1515, which was what I booked, no complaints there). There were two things that displeased me on this trip: Firstly, there were clearly some water issues as to flush the toilet required _at least_ 2 flushes, sometimes 3, no... More

Dear Sixtens Pappa, Thanks for the comments regarding your recent stay with us. Very sorry that the iron you used for your pants damaged them. I would like if you could contact me at the hotel directly at 1-215-982-7930 at your earliest convenience. There is an inspection process that should have caught this prior to you using the iron and... More

We stayed at the Residence Inn for a tournament at the convention center. It was nice being that close that we could walk - and fortunately the weather was decent. Our room had a queen size bed and sleeper sofa. We had 3 people registered for the room but we didn't have bedding for the sofa. One phone call resolved... More

The first room shown to us was very smokey smelling and the sofa was threadbare with stains. We asked to move and the second room was fine. The beds were comfortable and he breakfast was very good. No pool, but a decent workout room. The best part was the staff, who were very friendly and helpful. Valet parking was $48!... More

We were staying in Philly for a teachers conference and originally had reservations for the Marriott Downtown. After checking out our room and seeing how very expensive everything was, ($16.00 a day for in room wi-fi, no access to free computers, no microwave and terrible views) I walked over here to see if they could get us in. I talked... More
