One charmed night We spent only one night at this boutique hotel but it was enough to see the real value in it. First, it is located on a rather quiet, narrow street, Rittenhouse Square, which does run trough the Rittenhouse Square proper. Everything, museums, Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, is close, within walking distance. Hotel's facade is really beautiful, there... More

I stayed here after a late flight into Philadelphia. Unfortunately I can not go into too much detail as I arrived after 1am and left again around 8:00am. The person at the front desk was extremely helpful and welcoming. it is actually more of a greeting station than a desk. The hotel itself was charming and I had a king... More

We stayed at many hotels in the area and never knew this hotel even existed. There was a convention and all of the hotels were booked. My wife and I stayed here for our 30th anniversary. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. The room was amazing. Wine and cheese in the drawing room and breakfast in a cute cafe... More

My wife and I stayed here while I was in Philadelphia on business. We had never been to town before and what a find this place is! The location is perfect near Center City, City Hall and the shopping district. The staff was kind of accommodating. They brought my wife coffee upon check in and we went to the wine... More

Came into Philly for a concert and chose to stay over last minute. This was the only 4-star hotel under $300, given some kind of convention in town using tons of rooms. We got the last reservation of the day, so I'm not sure how our room compared to the rest. Well, we are SO GLAD we stayed here! Everything... More

The staff was extremely accommodating by letting us check in very early on the day of our arrival, as well as researching various transportation options. The breakfast in the café was a step above the typical continental breakfast. Location, being right at Rittenhouse Square, was perfect for the plans we had. The room was nice and the bathroom was fantastic.

The Rittenhouse 1715 Boutique Hotel (somewhat difficult to locate, as most taxi drivers mistake it for the Rittenhouse Hotel) is in a very fine 18th century building. The staff are pleasant and welcoming. On arrival, quite late, we had a long chat with Felix, the young Italian who manned the Reception desk. He couldn't have been nicer and even made... More

Lovely rooms and a good breakfast. Hotel staff is very helpful and very pleasant. Near many restaurants and within walking distance to the sights if the cities. If you happen to be over 65 you can ride the bus for free. Make sure you go to the Reading Terminal Market and go hungry.

Dear PSU1966, Thank you so much for your kind words about the hotel, rooms, and breakfast. It is true that SEPTA (the public transportation authority in this area) does provide free busing for seniors who show their ID or Medicare card, which is a fantastic way to get around the Center City area and beyond. We were so happy here. We were relaxed and were treated royally. The staff gave us personal service with a professional touch. The staff was helpful with directions and suggestions for dining. This was a great find in downtown Philly. First, the reservation process was simple, online and when I had to change my reservation they were very helpful.
