I won this hotel on Priceline for $85. I would have preferred a downtown property, but it was difficult to find cheap rates during the Independence Day weekend. The hotel itself was very nice. Great beds, large bathroom, and very clean. The flat screen TV was a nice touch. The location, unfortunately, left much to be desired. Maybe it’s because... more

The Inn at Penn was a pleasure. The room was Hilton clean and the overall atmosphere gave a sense that you were near a university campus. The location is convenient to the Philadelphia trolley system giving it great access to Center City. All requests that were made with the reservation were granted and the staff was very gracious. I would... more

I stayed at this hotel for one night before running the Philly Half Marathon in November. We booked this hotel because my boyfriend is a Hilton Gold member and we were able to use points, and it was the closest available hotel to the race start. The staff went beyond themselves to accommodate us. Before we arrived we called in... more

The hotel staff were very courteous and pleasant. The rooms are functional, not fancy, w/a little wear and tear showing. Location is good for access to the university - restaurant in the hotel is good as well. Parking is off site and a bit pricey. more

I thought the public areas very nice. Clubby atmosphere. I stayed four nights via bidding on Priceline and so had very good value. If I had paid $210/night, I wouldn't have thought so. Bed good, bath good, 12 pillows (!) (7 decorative), useful desk, comfy armchair, 2 newspapers per day. My room was noisy. If you want a quiet room,... more

I travel quite extensively for work and I have never stayed at a hotel that nickles and dimes its customers to such an extent. While I have grown to expect paying for internet in the rooms, this hotel charges for printing/faxing and internet in the business center which is a first for me. Don't even try to check in online... more

We have not stayed at the nearby Sheraton because you cannot beat the Hilton Inn at Penn for location when it comes to visiting the U. of Pennsylvania. The Hilton Inn at Penn is in fact a nice hotel. It is, however, fully priced, even for an upscale urban hotel. Pile on the taxes and the valet parking charges and... more

I spent 1 night here while visiting the University of Pennsylvania. What a nice experience. From the bellman to the front desk, this hotel has the friendliest staff I have every seen. The location is perfect for Penn business - literally a walk across the street. The room was very spacious and well-appointed. There are plenty of restaurants and stores... more

We were very pleased with our corner room on the 3rd floor, with a beautiful view of downtown Philly. Very comfortable bed with tons of super soft pillows. However service at the hotel was lacking in many ways. First of all, we stopped at the concierge desk at least 3 times over the span of two days to get maps... more

Staff was professional and courteous, room was great - convenient access to see my friends attending Penn. Dinner at Penne was excellent, refreshment service brought water, chocolates and ice to my room at night! more
