The Hampton Inn in Philly at the Convention Center is in a great location, close to The Reading Terminal Market, Convention Center and subway (1 1/2 blocks away). The hotel has a nice breakfast, the rooms are newer and well decorated. The price is right is right for being in the city.

The hotel itself is pretty average, but the staff is unbelievably friendly. At check-in, we were allowed to check-in early, and the staff was really helpful and friendly about it. The rooms are clean, but a little worn. The pool is also the smallest pool I have ever seen. The location is fantastic. It’s within walking distance to Reading Terminal... More

The staff was very friendly. The hotel room was clean and the temperature was just right. We ordered food from an outside vendor and they called me as soon as it arrived. The evening was just perfect thanks to the hardworking staff at this establishment.

this hotel is ideal for exploring all of the city. we used the hop on hop off explorer and a free shuttle collected us from the hotel. Our room was lovely, clean and the bed very comfortable. A good nights sleep was assured, we were high up so if there was road noise we didn't hear it .All the staff... More

Stayed for two days with my family for two days. We checked in to a double bed room. The carpets were stingy. Though we had a confirmed booking they allow us to check in only at 4 pm. Since my daughter was sick I wanted to get to the room quick. The reception guy was very helpful and tried to... More

Trip purpose was to attend our grandsons' appearance in the NCAA finals of Div.II Lacrosse Tournament. Hotel was fairly close to the field, and within walking distance of some of Philly's attractions. Hotel not fancy but adequate for our needs on this trip. Complementary breakfast was well set up but was a mad house, as there was a full house... More

This hotel is conveniently located in walking distance to the convention center and Reading Terminal Market. Try to avoid a room on the Race St as the convention center is across the street. The hotel's address is Race St., but the entrance is on N. 13th St. When there is a lot of activity at the convention center, you can... More

Hotel wasn't run as expected. Advertised breakfast was metered in drips and drabs. Staff was inept and not very spry. They we looking at guest as if looking would feed all families and children. The cleaning service was equally poor. Room wasn't clean till evening and "cleaning" was superficial if any. Management knew that hotel was sold for the weekend,... More

Dear mkaufman54, I appreciate the review of your recent stay at our hotel. I'm sorry that you received a poor level of service; this is not the Hampton norm as our goal is Satisfaction Guaranteed. I have addressed these issues with our staff. As well, I apologize that we did not meet your expectations and I have contacted our housekeeping... More

I chose this hotel because of its location and proximity to many of the places I needed to get to for meetings. I was in Philadelphia on business, and I was expecting a better quality room that what was given to me. The walls were severely scuffed and chipped, and the furniture and carpet was stained and musty. The bed... More

This hotel location is fantastic; however, the parking is quite atrocious. The parking attendants were so incredibly slow, we probably burned close to a tank of gas waiting for them to finish with the people in front of us. The hotel was adequate. Nothing horrible, nothing special. You pay for the location. The main complaint I have is that the... More
