This hotel was about twice the price of other Westins that we stayed in during our touring holiday. There were some aspects and some staff that were very good and others that needed a bit more customer focus. The room itself was good and for the same price as a standard king at this hotel we tried the keep fit... more

We had the opportunity to stay here for 4th of July weekend when we were in town to see the Mets play the Phillies. Staff: Valet and front door staff was very friendly when I parked my car and every time I left the building. Additionally, they always said “welcome back” when we came back to the hotel. Concierge staff... more

This hotel is a gem. It is well decorated, and in a great downtown location. I would say that it is a good upscale choice if that is what you are looking for in center city...it was what we were looking for. The negative came when we departed on the morning of our second day at the hotel at around... more

We booked a good deal for the Westin through Hotwire. We were too early to get into our room, but they gladly checked our bags. Room was on the 6th floor and was your standard modern Westin room. We used the Westin Workout room during our stay. It smelled like a mens hockey team locker room! Blech! There were several... more

We came in on a Sunday night for a wedding (not at the hotel) and the hotel was pretty quiet. I have gold status with Starwood, so I was hoping for an upgrade to the club level. Well, this Westin doesn't have Club, but the front desk bumped me to a very nice suite. The few staff that we interacted... more

The Westin Philadelphia's main attraction is its location. It is only blocks away from the dining and shopping of Rittenhouse Square, and within walking distance in every direction to many other shops and restaurants. The room itself was nicely decorated and of a good size. As another poster noted, though, there was a weird constant humming sound the whole time... more

I found this hotel very strange. Public spaces are underwhelming, the restaurant is dismal, the bar uninspiring. Ok so the beds are comfortable and thats fine for a businessman that is just going to sleep here with the Yellow Book, but for the tourist I suggest you look elsewhere. Other reviewers are correct, parking was $42 plus plus tax per... more

We just stayed for 1 night and found the hotel beautifully appointed, service excellent , room clean. The bed is in fact very comfortable. But the curtains on our window were not room darkenign and in fact let in a good amount of light. What good is a heavenly bed if you are awakened by sunrise at the crack of... more

I stayed here for one night on a combination cash and SPG points. I was pleasantly surprised by the look of the hotel. I read somewhere that it was a former Ritz property. The room was spacious with a large desk, flatscreen TV and a nice view. (11th floor). The only issues I had with the hotel were the self-parking.... more
