Went to Philadelphia for a short weekend break. Have stayed at a Westin in Dallas, which was the best hotel experience I have ever had in terms of comfort, sleep wise. Westin beds and linens are very good quality as far as hotels go, and they have a reputation for this. So, we paid extra, compared to other hotels on... More

This Westin is in a great location, the staff we encountered were nice and the hotel is generally nice. I had 2 problems with my stay. First of all, the sheets were so rough that they made a sound any time one person moved. The fitted sheet kept coming off while sleeping and I kept waking to find myself laying... More

We were just here for a one night but it was a great stay, and good service, nice people. It is a good location in town and we walked everywhere we wanted to go - The Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, City Hall, the hop-on-off us stop, etc. The rooms were comfortable and ,there were soft robes, which you don't see... Westin is a comfortable upscale property with a good central location, within easy walking to public transportation (SEPTA) & tour bus access (PHASH and Big Bus) to local attractions. Westin's best Philadelphia asset, in my opinion, is their incredible concierge, Geraldine "Gerry" down at the concierge desk. Professional, knowledgeable, courteous, bubbly and fun, this delightful woman became a fantastic resource... More

The title of my review is, I believe, what the great W.C. Fields requested for the message on his tombstone. But I am saying it sincerely. I have a very close friend in Philly, whom I try to visit each year for a few days during my summer vacation. On my past few visits, I have been choosing to stay... More

I just wanted to recognize one of the front desk staff at the Westin Philadelphia for her amazing service and attitude this past weekend. My boyfriend and I stayed over from Saturday afternoon to Sunday morning, 7/5- 7/6/14. We interacted with the front desk on multiple occasions, and on both days we spoke with Melissa. She was so upbeat, so... More

Arrived at 4:30 pm on Friday - rooms were still not available for check-in. Had to wait an hour with a very pregnant wife and toddler. The front-desk attendant/receptionist seem was very cold and dismissive - he did not show an ounce of remorse/sympathy for our situation. I explained that my pregnant wife (8 months) needed to lie down soon... More

Really disappointed with this Westin. There is not one positive point I can find and for is he brand this is highly unusual I booked a Grand Deluxe room, ended up with something that was fairly average, and they couldn't even provide bedding that fitted the bed properly. Internet, parking etc are all overpriced - it's just feels like you... More
