I had the misfortune of being a tenant in a building where there was a massive flood forcing several tenants to seek temporary housing, with no notice, and with 2 young cats in tow. Having the cats, further limited my last minute reservation options but I secured a quick one with The Hotel Palomar. My only other previous experience with... More

Centrally located to the shopping district, this hotel is also surrounded by fine dining and a local laundromat. I had a room facing 17th street, on the third floor that was near a nightclub. As a result there was loud music playing ALL night EVERY night. I would strongly recommend potential guests enquire about this when booking & requesting a... More

I always like Kimpton hotels for their eccentric approach to hotel hospitality. The room was fine and very clean. Great room cleaning service. The happy hour is fun as you can chat with other visitors or be left alone. We wear in town for a large convention and it was fun chatting with others you normally wouldn't meet. The personnel... Other than the room being small everything else was outstanding. I enjoyed their wine hour in the evening. I also enjoyed the bar, they had an interesting drink menu all good. Also had lunch which was good and the waiter took care of a minor problem without me mentioning it which shows the attention to detail their staff has.

I'll admit it, I'm a Kimpton fan. They aren't always perfect when it comes to service, and sometimes you have to deal with a bit of an attitude, but overall their properties are stunning, and in great locations. After staying at Hotel Monaco last time in Philly, my wife and I decided to try Palomar. We spent a long weekend... More

Our family (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed 3 nights at the Palomar. We stayed in a suite room with a king size bed and an adjoining sitting room with a pullout queen size sofa bed. Our room felt spacious, our beds were very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed the decor which I would describe as contemporary with a bit... More

We were in Philly for a classical performance at the Verizon center and wanted something centrally located. This hotel was perfect for that, very close to the Liberty Bell and within walking distance of many restaurants and bars. Once we parked our car with the valet, we never had to take it out again. We only stayed one night, but... More

Loved this hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a nice location next to great restaurants, bars and shops. We had a room with city view and it was very nice. You did have to sign up for the Kimptons award program to get free wifi, but it... More

This could be my Amorites hotel in Philly, among a lot of great choices. Kimpton's Karma program, which is free to join, always provides great, affordable last minute deals, which makes it very enticing forthis traveller from DC to hop the Amtrak and head north on a given weekend. Malcolm, Samantha and Brett at the front desk deserve particular praise... More

Love this hotel. Always clean, great lobby with warm fireplace and friendly doormen. Bar has well made cocktails and delicious menu. Rooms are simple, stylish, and comfortable. My dog found it to his liking as well
