This was our second stay at the Palomar in Philadelphia, and we enjoyed it as much as the first. We were greeted with a complementary glass of wine. Our room was clean and comfortable with a view view. The hotel has a lot going for it, but its best feature is the location. It's surrounded by restaurants and shops, and... More

This boutique hotel was fancy . The rooms were just fine the beds were good. The windows do not open but that's okay beautiful view of the city . And the bar restaurant attached to the hotel I thought was fantastic. Next time I'm in Philly I will definitely stay next time I come

Stayed at the Palomar for 1 night . Lovely Boutique Hotel with Clean beautifully appointed rooms, lovely happy hour welcome and warm , artistic feel ( no cookie cutter feel here). While we were extremely happy with our room , we found that our refrigerator did not work and our bathtub would not hold water. On returning home we sent... More

The hotel has a boutique charm and is ver pretty. The staff is very friendly. We had a little problem with the refrigerator, which wasn't working ,and tub plug which wasn't working but were compensated for these inconveniencies in a very timely manner. The manager responded very promptly to our email. She called within hours of receiving our email and apologized for our inconveniencies and... We enjoyed our one night stay here. Our room on the 20th floor was lovely, comfortable and quiet. And elevators were always available with little wait and very speedy going up and down. The hotel is in a great location to access downtown sites. We will stay here again when we find ourselves in Philly.

This is my go to hotel in Philly because of its location, ambiance and room decor. The staff is always friendly and courteous. I only have a couple negative comments...there is no lobby bathroom and there are no ice machines on most floors. The bathrooms on the second floor are stunning as is the elevator area which has the original... More

Connieagatheas - The pleasure was all ours! Thank you for choosing the Palomar. As you found, our spacing has to be efficient due to the historic nature of the building (former home to the AIA offices), so there are some things that couldn't go some places. Including our ice machine, which is located on the 4th floor in our fitness... More

Booked hotel for a mini conference with about 20 colleagues. Can't find anything to be critical about at all. Service and staff fantastic, hotel clean and fresh even in mid 90s heat and plenty of social activity but when you serve free wine and beer to your guests.......

spessy - Thank you for staying at the Palomar with 20 of your closest friends (or at least closest colleagues). Glad you were able to break free of your meetings to enjoy wine hour, although I am very curious about the second of half of what happens when you serve wine and beer to your guests.... Cheers - Mark More

We stayed here for one night only but we loved the properly. True to Kimpton fashion, the design was eclectic, beautiful and visually appealing. The room was nice, with gorgeous furniture, lighting fixtures and accents. We had the spa suite, which is beautiful and has a hot tub, which we definitely enjoyed

This hotel has a terrific location and very friendly staff. They participate in the "Visit Philly" program, which incl. free parking (the hotel charges $45/day, so this is a great deal). Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I recommend requesting a high up floor, as they're on a very busy street. They're a pet-friendly hotel but offer pet-free floors,... More

elg820 - Thank you for choosing the Palomar. The Philly Overnight package is a great way to book your hotel. You can find the package directly on our website or through Visit Philly's own website (at lots of other great information about what to see, eat, and do while visiting us). Of course we have a tremendous concierge who can... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in July, to attend business meetings a few blocks away. greatest 'accidental' find (booked here based on the advise of a local friend). Lovely environment, comfy bedding, great bathroom. Only complaint is when I made my reservation, I asked for a steamer (to get the wrinkles out of packed my business attire), and a coffeemaker... MsCasualTravelor - Thank you for listening to your friend! They sound very intelligent and well versed in the city! I am sorry that we were unable to execute those simple requests for you. Occasionally, depending on how the room was booked some of the those reservations notes don't make it to the property level. I would always encourage you to... More
