What more can I say but another perfect trip to the Palomar. The staff is wonderful we were celebrating my husband's birthday on arrival they had a treat waiting in the room. The 5 oclock wine hour always fun!!! We were there during the big snow storm and you never would have known-the staff kept the place running perfect !!!!!!

Thanks for choosing the Palomar to celebrate your Anniversary! We love being included on special events. We can't wait to see you back in a few days to celebrate your birthday! You'll have to come back to celebrate something else (Flag Day?) so you can spend some more time in those awesome spa tubs! Best - Mark More

Great location, hospitality is second to none (and yes, including the Ritz Carlton). Staff is incredibly nice - valet service quick and easy. They do a complimentary wine hour in the evening, wine is actually okay, but great lobby setting, fireplace etc. Relaxing way to check in....

You pose a great question? Maybe because we're sold out? We are sincerely flattered to mention amongst such great company as the Ritz. Delivering that same level of service (with our own unique approach) has always been our goal. Hope to see you again soon. Cheers - Mark More

This is a pet friendly hotel however if you aren't travelling with pets there are pet free levels which was fantastic! The hotel is stylish and modern very comfortable and the room (queen deluxe) was a very good size. The complimentary mixer in the lobby between 5-6pm was a nice welcome surprise for us as we had driven a few... More

Valli C - Thank you for choosing the Palomar. I'm thrilled to hear we were able to overcome less than ideal arrival conditions (driving, rain, cold...). Of course hot cider with bourbon overcomes a lot of things. All Kimptons (and there are over 50 of us) have the same expectations for service and have a lot of the same great... More

This was the second time we have stayed here and once again we were not disappointed. From the time you enter the hotel you can tell your in one of Philadelphia's nicest locations. And as far as location, it is in the hub for dinning and entertainment. You can walk to most anywhere from here, Rittenhouse square has some fine... More

Mark W - Thank you for staying with us. Glad to hear you enjoyed some bourbon (with cider!) at our nightly reception. We offer that all winter long. You'll have to give our sangria a go in the summer. But the truffle popcorn is here year round. It is a Square1682 staple and we're ecstatic they put it out at... More

My boyfriend and I LOVE Kimpton hotels! Upon arriving at the hotel, we enjoyed some complimentary hot chocolate in the lobby. When we checked in, we were upgraded to a king suite (room 1902) without asking! It was an amazing room with a great view and awesome tub. After our Philly Brew Tour we returned to our room at the... Maricxo - Happy belated birthday! Thanks for celebrating with us. Twice the rooms at half the price...sounds like a great deal! In all honesty, thank you for your understanding regarding the late night leak. The issue was quickly found and everything is as good as new now. Hope you guys come back soon. With all the great beer in this... More

The hotel is well placed for all Philadelphia's attractions which is it's main benefit. The rooms are adequate in size but that is normally par for the course in most big cities. The bath room is also adequate. We arrived and were given our room keys etc and the greeting was friendly and welcoming. We were therefore rather surprised when... More

Richard S - While we're thrilled that you opted to give us an opportunity while on holiday, I have to agree that your stay was not up to snuff. It certainly fell far short of our own expectations, as it did for you. I assure you we typically run a much more efficient, effective operation here and I apologize that... More

We were stuck three extra days in Philadelphia due to 24 inches of snow this weekend. I had hurt my back right before the trip, and. the hotel did everything they could to accommodate me, including upgrading us to a suite with a whirlpool tub for the same rate that we were paying for a normal room, for our original... Keszee - Thanks for staying with us. Glad to hear there's a therapeutic value to staying with us as well. It was a fun weekend for us and we were really happy to be snowbound with all of our guests and help stave off some cabin fever. A blizzard is always a lot more enjoyable when you know you don't... This year we had the annual debate of whether to stay at the Hotel Monaco or the Palomar. Last year we stayed at the Hotel Monaco and had a room which overlooked Independence Hall. We loved the hotel, it was very clean and a great location for exploring the tourist areas. This year we decided to try the Palomar and... More

ilk2travel - I think you articulated the Palomar-Monaco decision pretty well. Obviously we're glad to have won this round. And hope to the next one as well! I think the real moral of the story is that you're not going to go wrong either way. Thanks for being true to Kimpton. Hope to see you again next year! Mark More

We have stayed at Hotel Palomar in PHILLY many, many times and it just keeps getting better and better. The service is the best, the rooms very comfortable and the location is perfect.
