Excellent location, beautiful room, good service, and we had a great time in Philly. Lots of good stores and restaurants nearby - very close to Rittenhouse Square. Enjoyed Di Bruno's for breakfast and lunch (gourmet grocery with upstairs cafe), Little Pete's (classic diner) for cheesesteak, and Pub and Kitchen for dinner. Good value when getting parking included in the rate. more

Front Desk attendants were very nice and very thoughtful. Hotel bar was very busy. Elevators did not feel safe (harsh jolting and shaking). Rooms look cool and trendy but are very small. Bathrooms are small and cramped. Room service phone operator was rude and she did not get my order right (even after I repeated the order twice). When food... more

Stayed 2 nights with my husband for his bday weekend in Philly. Hotel is in a GREAT location with parking available less than 1 block away on Sansom. We walked around the neighborhood for hours, a few blocks in every direction and found lots of shops, cafes, bars, etc (Di Bruno brothers is right around the corner and we bought... more

We got an opening rate, so decided to give the Hotel Palomar a try. Nice staff, but tiny rooms. My side of the king sized bed was so close to the outside wall that I worried I would get out of bed and bang into the wall. The bed frame is a touch larger than the matress, so defintiely a... more

This is a nice hotel that has either recently been renovated. My room was clean with a large bed and small 'foyer'. Bathroom was clean and had a sliding pocket door instead f a traditional door which really helped with space. Staff was almost too professional made them sound like robots reciting a speech. Overall a good experience and would... more

We got a great rate on our king deluxe room, however we were put on a lower floor near the elevator and the room was small. Everything is brand new, clean and modern. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Valet parking is close to $40.00 and two drinks at the bar were $25.00. The restaurant and bar area were... more

What a nice shift from on night toanother. I stayed one night at a nearby hotel and was so disappointed I left. Mentioned my issue to a client who recommended The Palomar and am glad he did. Staff was very helpful, food was good, room nicely appointed. Will definately stay here when I am back in town. more

The hotel opened 2 weeks ago. It still has that new construction smell. Atmosphere is very hip, room is a bit small but the bed and sheets are comfortable. Decor is typical Kimpton hotel...chic but still homey. The staff fits the Kimpton bill as well, youngish, hip, friendly and enthusiastic. The location seems to be central to good restaurant choices,... more
