Abrupt on phone but nice enough once you get there. Parking is convenient and reasonable. Elevator was broken but they comped us some of the room price. Room on river had a great view. They did well under the pressure of many incoming student groups.

This hotel is located next to the Potomac, so in a higher floor you get amazing views, however, this means its next to the highway, so cars/trucks/bikes are passing 24/7!! I am a very bad sleeper so it wasn't good for me at all. I remember reading reviews saying walls are paper thin... they really seem to be made of... More

Great location, modern furnishings and very clean. Had a room on a higher floor overlooking the river with beautiful views. Good selection of restaurants and bars within one block of hotel. Within walking distance to Penns Landings.

We stayed here for one night following a reunion party in Philadelphia. For that purpose, it was fine. The hotel itself is across a very busy street from Penn's Landing proper. It's a little tired looking on the outside. Paid parking is available onsite and you can come and go at will, which is nice. Our room faced out over... More

Well located, easily walk to City Centre, breakfast -which is included -is hot and plentiful. However it was "American"- great if you like it. Rooms facing the Delaware have a great view of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, however those at the rear are overlooked by or overlook the Freeway.Noisier and far less desirable. We stayed 4 nights and returned to... More

Located in the very central historically place, the hotel is really in the old city. Unfortunately later on the location was surrounded by two big roads, right under the walls. It is a major problem with the location and the quetness of the place. Coffee and tea is available 24 hrs + coffee maker in the room. Rooms are American... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in May 2015. The hotel is in a nice location and also has parking for those who need it. However, we had 3 problems that marred our stay. Firstly, all the rooms on the rear side of the hotel face highway I-95 and this makes them very noisy. It was not easy getting a... More

We stayed in a newly decorated room and it was nice and clean. The hot breakfast and good coffee was appreciated. The staff was kind enough to offer us a late check-out time of 2 pm. This really helped us make better use of our day. The location was great, with many places close by to eat and drink. They... More

I needed a room and the city was full . Work in oncology was aas asked at the last minute to help out at Penn Hospital. The going rate for the night was 400 to 450 . Everywhere! This Hotel actually gave me a the Hospital Rate in spite of the convention going on. This Hotel has true compassion the... More
