We were just lucky that they had a cancellation and had a room for us on a very short notice. We spent only two night in Philadelphia, but were very happy with this place. It's in the nicest neighborhood, in a charming old house, right in the middle of the city. Staff was very nice and had a great breakfast... More

Just tell them you are vegan, and done. They prepared me a vegan breakfast on Sunday morning which was great! It is located almost in city center, walking distance to almost everywhere. Comfortable big rooms, you share the bathroom which was also very clean. In fact, except some hair found in the towels, the hotel was very clean. The A/C... More

I stayed in La Reserve for six days during a conference because the conference hotels were considerably more expensive and I would choose the La Reserve again. The location is great: in five minutes you are downtown and yet it is very quiet, especially if you take a room towards the courtyard. Sharing a bathroom can be an issue but... More

Stayed here for three nights while visiting Philadelphia. Very pleased with our experience. The property is nicely located within reasonable walking distance of the city centre and tourist sights. The B & B is in a lovely quiet street and has retained the authentic period feel. We stayed in the Hunt Room which is a very large room with a... More

We love having a full kitchen when traveling, and this atmospheric B & B in historic downtown Philadelphia manages to combine charm and functionality. Beautiful living room in our 1 bedroom apartment, with a lovely couch and two tables to work or eat at. One of the two A/C units was not working very well, but we just turned it... More

As a single female travelling during 4th July week. I stayed in the Grande Dame and it was beautiful with a lot of room for moving around. The location is great, only a few blocks from Rittenhouse Square and a slow 15min walk to City Hall (I walk slow). The Orange Line is close by too. The breakfasts are great... More

Every part of our experience was exceptional. The comfortable rooms have such a warm feeling, with every amenity. The staff were all so helpful, from the manager to the cleaning staff. Although the continental breakfast is more than adequate with a wide variety of choices, Chef George's cooked to order breakfasts on the weekend are worth planning for. All in... More

If you're looking to have just that little bit of extra space to spread out, and cozy home feel, this place is perfect, and it won't break the bank either! It's located on one of Philadelphia's most beautiful tree lined streets, and the service is top notch. You really do feel like you're 'coming home'. It's like having your own... More

(+) The hotel is a very unusual one with the retro style from the previous century. I am not saying that it is old, it is well preserved furniture and the whole building. The rooms don't have numbers, they have their own names. We stayed in the Heritage room and had a shared bathroom but it does not make it... More

We stayed for a week and really felt at home (afternoon coffee/tea and coockies). Safe neighborhood, walking distance to all the mayor touristic locations, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, a real great price/quality value.
