I had to be in Philly for a work conference, but staying at Apple Hostel made the trip so much better - very friendly staff and other guests, fun movie/snack night, pin-drop quiet dorm, and perfect location (close to downtown/historic sites, but tucked back away from noise). If you like hostels, this place is amazing.

Great Hostel. Not a dry hostel like most. The staff are fantastic.Bradley was working most days l was there and he knows his way around Philly and recommended a few lesser know attractions which were amazing such as the magic garden and mutters museum. The nightly events are great for getting to know other people and those in your rooming area,... Apple Hostel had it all.. Great location, comfortable beds, fantastic (and clean) facilities and friendly staff. We stayed here during our travels of the East Coast and we safely say that it was the best hostel that we encountered. We stayed in the large mixed dorm, but the room was incredibly spacious, and the beds were well kept and comfortable.... More

This is by far the best hostel I have stayed in on this planet. Super helpful staff, free wifi and pristine conditions. My bed was comfy and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun. This place is hostel heaven!

Great location right next to subway, main market, restaurants, main market street and sites. Very quiet dorm room even though there were 16 beds. Great kitchen and chilling area, great atmosphere with super friendly staff. Bags of movies to watch in the social area. There were organised events, e.g. free beer night and free pasta night. Wifi was available everywhere... More

Traveling the States by myself, I was extremely keen to stay in places that made me feel safe and welcome. Apple Hostels did just that. The staff were absolutely lovely, the place was extremely well decorated, very safe and in a great location. I really could not have asked for more.

Very sociable hostel, with one main relaxing area, meaning that meeting people is easy, especially for the solo traveler. The kitchen is very large and the bedrooms are what you would expect. The hostel staff are great, and offer a couple of walking tours and a crate of free beers once a week. Downsides: showers aren't private and it IS... More

My first time to be in a dorm and a huge one! Well it says it is just 16 bed but it looks like 20 bunk beds to me. Despite that, the room was surprisingly not stuffy (but it could be because I chose the top bunk near the exit door). Am fairly lucky to have no issue whatsover with... More

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst travelling around. Place is lovely lots of communal things to do and great way to meet others travelling, they also have 1 activity a day which is good! Staff are really friendly too! Rooms are as you would expect for a hostel, but it is just one big room (that is for the code... More
