Aside from the perfect location of the hotel, the price, and the comfy room, I also have to compliment the breakfast at this place - it's insanely good! Nice options, from waffles to eggs, to fresh fruit. Such a nice bonus to not have to add a search for a good breakfast to your day. Will definitely be back to... More

We just spent the wknd here & loved it. It was so beautiful...clean & nostalgic. Staff only complimented our wonderful stay here. Great house wine bar & dining in Panorama. Close to Penns Landing & other attractions. Parking is safe in lot right next door. We got the big bus pass & had no problem getting where we wanted to... More

My wife and I stayed here for three nights while holidaying in Philadelphia. I chose this hotel based on it's location, price and the wonderful reviews on Tripadvisor. It certainly didn't disappoint. The check-in was fast and straightforward. Our room overlooked Market street. We just loved the historic period styling if this hotel, so much better than the chain hotels.... More

I wanted to surprise my bf with a room in the city. We already did the posh botique in NYC a few months ago, so I was looking for a bed & breakfast kind of feel, and Penn's View Hotel was exactly what I was looking for, and reasonable priced for being right in the city. We got the king-sized... More

Honestly, I was a little concerned at first about Penn's View. The pictures looked nice, but the website was confusing for booking reservations. I called the hotel to set that up and promptly received my confirmation via Email. The pictures didn't do it justice! This converted warehouse is far enough out of the tourist area that we felt like we... More

I stumbled onto Penn's View during a business trip after my reservations at another hotel got screwed up. I discovered a hidden gem. A converted warehouse built in the early 1800's, it has many features that remind me of hotels where I have stayed in Europe. Each room is unique, the restaurant is great and, unlike where I was suppose... More

We enjoyed our stay here in July. A nice touch was the availability of cold lemon-water in the lobby. The staff was very pleasant with suggestions. Our suite was on the second floor and very roomy with a sofa bed, large dining table, and separate bedroom. Very quiet -- no problems. They gave us a wake up call when we... More

My husband and I spent Saturday July 5th, traveling through to Atlantic City. This hotel offers offstreet parking, different vendor, but it appeared to be manned most of the time. We walked over the bridge, lots of entertainment and fireworks went off that evening. The hotel is within walking distance to Campos, famous for their Cheesesteak sandwiches and of course,... More

Nice place to stay - very clean and comfortable. It's just a few blocks from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell so it's a good place for tourists. It was kind of hard for us to find at first because our GPS got confused but otherwise no problems.

This is a beautiful hotel; room was very clean. Close to many shops, restaurants and historical landmarks in Philadelphia. Room had a wonderful little balcony with a great view of the city. This hotel is good for tourist as well as business travel. Amy, in the bar, was very nice and friendly. I would highly recommend.
