Stayed at the Omni at Independence Park for two nights at the end of August. Location is perfect; you are in the middle of Independence Historical Park with the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and many other historical landmarks steps away. We had a comfortable stay in the Omni on a busy July weekend. Reception staff were very pleasant and friendly, as were the porters and concierge. Very nice but expensive hotel very close to independence park. I would not stay anywhere downtown with a family, as the entire area closes up at 5 p.m. with the exception of a few dive-type eating spots. Despite a late arrival, they had two complimentary "Kids packs" ready and waiting for our children.
