This was a great place to stay -- walking distance to all the historic sites (Ben Franklin is buried literally next door), restaurants, Penn's Landing, Chinatown, US Mint, and more. The hotel was nice, rooms were newish, but the beds were tiny, and the rooftop pool was fun for the kids. Booked through gophila site in package that they didn't... more

I stayed here for three nights with my teenage daughters. The location is great. It’s an easy walk to all the historic sites around Independence Mall. There’s a Starbucks a block away (right across from the Betsey Ross home.) There are many restaurants on Market St. within a couple blocks. A couple problems: The room always seemed damp, even though... more

Stayed one night with our 13 yo daughter & 15 yo son. Very close to all major historic sites. We were worried when we were unloading and heard the fire trucks exiting the station across the street. Happy to say we slept like babies & never heard a sound (bed was VERY comfy!). Staff was extremely cordial. Had a minor... more

Stayed there for one night. Hotel is a little older but they seem to have made a few recent updates to the rooms. The bathroom looked to be remodeled recently. Beds were decent and everything in the room was pretty clean. Didn't hear too many other guests from inside our room and only occasionally heard outside noises. Parking is on-sight... more

Hotel is good for business travel and I would take my family back here. It is very close to the historic sites and offers everything you need. The rooms were nice and clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The business center's computers were agonizingly slow and it was really hot in the business center. more

Stay at this hotel if you want to be within easy walking distance of all of the important historic sites. We visited Philadelphia with teenage kids. The hotel is a little worn and musty but verry satisifactory, and the location is perfect. It is right in the middle of the historic district. Unfortunately the pool isn't heated but the view... more

We chose this hotel because of the location -- it couldn't be better! Within walking distance of all the historic sites, tour companies, restaurants, etc. The staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant. Always available for directions or advice. There were several events going on while we were there - school tour groups, a class reunion -but we were put in... more

Our family of 4 stayed here 2 nights. The location couldn't have been better for touring all of the many historic sites, and it's right next to the US Mint. Ben Franklin's final resting spot is right behind the hotel. The Liberty Bell and Independence Hall are only a brief walk. We were even able to stop in the hotel... more

I spent one night at this hotel, although I would have liked more. It’s perfectly situated for the Historic District. Good sized room, nice bar, lounge and pool. My room could have been cleaned a bit better and when I complained they sorted out the problem without a fuss. Staff were very helpful. I would stay here again. more

I went to Philadelphia for the last 2 days of a week long trip to the Phili, NJ, NY area. After 4 days of traveling and seeing friends and family, I went to Philadelphia to tour and relax, all by myself!! There was nobody there to say "I'm bored!" or "I don't want to go there!" etc. The room was... more
