We spent 2 nights this week and were delighted with the convenience and value for money in a downtown city location. Our room 502 was well furnished and comfortable. though a little dark. The bathroom was large and had a full window facing East. The area is full of great coffee shops and retsurants. We had super lunch at Little... More

My family of four traveled to Philly to experience its Brotherly Love, and decided to stay at The Independent because of its affordable price. Already I'm feeling the love. At check-in, we were greeted with warm service, hot coffee and a chic decor. After spending the day cavorting the city, (which, by the way, use its Phlash bus system if... More

This was our first time in New York. Just happened to find Hotel 373 while searching for a hotel. Chose this one because we didn't have to share a bathroom. Exceptionally clean rooms, beds, bathrooms.

Centrally located, excellent value. Perfect for a boutique getaway. We went for 4th of July weekend and had a great time. Eric at the front desk was very professional and knowledgeable. The location was great for getting around to all the cities sites.

I was in Philadelphia on a business trip and had the pleasure of staying at the Independent. Very cute boutique hotel conveniently located to so many great restaurants. I was able to get around the city very easily for business and took advantage of the free wifi. Best part, during the heat wave this week the A/C was blasting! I... More

Pro: The hotel is tastefully decorated just as advertised and the staff is very nice, helpful, accommodating and friendly. The room was spacious and the bathroom was unexpectedly large. Our room faces Locust and can be noisy on Saturday night. If you are a light sleeper, the hotel provided ear plugs on bed sides. Location was 10-15 min walk to... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights this past week. We thought the hotel was great overall. The place is in a really cool building. The hotel rooms have huge ceilings and windows overlooking the street. The neighborhood is really great - lots of restaurants and bars close by. It was within walking distance to Market Terminal and Independence... More

This charming hotel is the place to stay if you are visiting Philadelphia's Gayborhood. It is perfectly located to all that the neighborhood has to offer. The hotel is charming and has a very historical feel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The manager Dan, was especially kind and professional. Dan made sure that I had what I needed... More

We stayed in the Loft Suite and had an intimate Valentine's Day party. The hotel was very clean and unique. My daughter also had another room in the hotel that she agreed was also very nice. The staff was super and even offered to bring us extra chairs for our guests. I would recommend this hotel and will surely stay... More

Close to Independence Square and the Reading Station Market. We walked to both. Also walked a bit further to Pat's and Geno's Steaks from the hotel. Rooms were great and clean. Traffic noise noticeable at night (cars honking, sirens blaring).
