The Sheraton is within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and just down the street from World Cafe Live. The fitness center is very clean and has great equipment. The lounge upstairs was a great place to unwind! Staff were very friendly and helpful.

This place is 15 minutes from the airport and adjacent to Univ of Penn and Drexel. The bad news is that it's managed and maintained like your students dorm room - before you come to visit. We had bags of garbage by the elevator for a day. Vacuum cleaners were sitting in the hallway during our entire stay. (We were... More

Had better rooms for $60. It is all about the location. Free internet in room...some cheezy device that is slow and very dim. Only left one coffee cup for two people.. The parking garage is dirty and cost $20 a nite. Front desk people seemed ashamed to tell you what you are paying. Restaurant is good though..and gym is nice.... More

So I stayed at this hotel because it is 1.5 blocks away from where medical students take the USMLE step 2 CS exam, which is what I was there for. This review is mainly designed for those in the same situation, so feel free to skip this review if that's not you. The hotel's location is ideal - it is... More

Came down to Philly with the gf for some family business and to catch a Phillies game. Usually like to stay in Center City, but this night, none of the Center City hotels were available, so looked a little further out and picked this hotel on Chestnut Street and 36th. The neighborhood is fine, you are in the center of... More

My family arrived at 2 am with prior reservations. My daughter had been lifeflighted by helicopter to chop in critical condition. The desk clerk was mean and rude to us. The room was small and unclean. The next morning I paid 14 dollars for a pot of coffee as I was too exhausted to wander the hotel to find it.I called the front... More

This hotel should be either completely refurbished or leveled. It is a dump that has outlived its functionality. Also, the whole staff should be terminated and replaced with a professional, friendly and customer oriented team. I'm surprised that Sheraton has not pulled it's franchise and/or Upenn hasn't protested its continual existence adjacent to their campus.

I recently traveled to Philadelphia for a job interview. The Sheraton was chosen for me by my host company due to the proximity to their headquarters. I stayed for two nights during the most recent Philadelphia heat wave. I arrived at approximately 8:30pm. Check in was quick, although I did not get the type of room that had been reserved.... More

As part of a cohort with the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School, I stayed at the hotel during July 11 - 17, 2010. Initially, I was in room 1720 (or 1724) where I stayed just one night, because the next day after realizing I had two insect bites, I requested to be moved to another room. The new room was... More

I stayed here for 10 days awaiting an operation, and then for another 2 days afterwards. The room has free internet, comfy beds and quiet air conditioning. If ever I needed anything eg extra milk for coffee, it arrived within a few minutes. The staff are outstanding in their commitment to the customer. (there was one tiny exception today and... More
