We got an free upgrade (not requested) from a room with 2 full size beds to a junior suite with a king and a pull out couch. When checking in, I made it clear that we needed 2 beds, and I was reassured that the pullout couch would be good for one person to sleep on.....what a mistake!! The mattress... More

I'm starting to think I am a hotel snob, but really, I'm not. I look at Trip Advisor, see the photos people put up and then go to these same hotels and my room is different. Was at the Sheraton last week and I thought I took a time machine back to the 80's. Dated wallpaper peeling, bathroom so small... More

Dear ncognito01, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with the feedback about your stay with us. The secured floors that you are referring to are our Club Level rooms. These rooms offer our guests 24 hour access to the Club Lounge. The decor and layout of the rooms are the same for all guest rooms. I do... More

We stay at this hotel every year during the Penn Relays. It's one of two hotels in the entire Penn area (the less expensive). The room was better this year than some rooms in the past The really down side of the room is that they are evidently using Queen size sheets on the King size beds and the lower... More

Dear LAS12, We truly appreciate your loyalty as our guest during the Penn Relays. Thank you for taking the time to share your feeback on your stay this year. Please note that the internet service is being addressed at this time. We have changed our service provider and there are no longer restrictions in place when logging on. We know... More

We stayed here during the 2012 Broad Street 10 Mile Run. We would have preferred to stay in downtown Philadelphia, but everything was booked. The hotel is modern and clean. The front desk staff and phone operators made me feel that I was either annoying them or asking them to go beyond their duties when I asked for assistance. The... More

Good: Hotel Staff (front desk and cleaning crew) Bad: 1. Internet: Internet was awfully slow in the rooms. You have to rest the computer daily for a new password (this was not shared with me at check-in.) Don't try to connect via wifi unless you go to the lobby. OR, I walked down the block to Starbucks daily. That worked... More

Amazing front desk staff, animated, shouting back and forth, carrying on conversations with each other no matter where in the lobby their colleagues we positioned. As I worked on a business project in the main lobby, I had to listen to a lively conversation among 2 and occasionally 3 hotel Front Desk staff. The arguement seemed to be that the... More

If you need to stay near the University and you can get a rate under $200 then this hotel is clean and comfortable and will probably suit your needs. If you want something a little bit special or you're paying more than $200 then there are better hotels in Philly. In short the whole place looks and feels a bit... More

The location is good and the in and out parking is very convenient. But the hotel is old and tired, noisy with street noise, the carpeting is filthy. I attended a meeting in their facilities and while they are lovely and clearly updated, the nicest part of the hotel, it also smells like a moldy basement and really feels very... More

When we travel to Philly we also choose the Sheraton in University City. Its location in the center of University life creates a fantastic atmosphere. The location so close to the train station makes it easy to get to and from the airport with very little hassle. We always take the train, good value and painless. Leaves right from the... More
