Came into hotel 9 pm. Was informed that the water would be turned off at 9 am for maintenance. WHAT? Sorry. No showers after 9 am but we will compensate you by sending up an orange juice. Can't make this stuff up. Very unhappy do called manager in morning and Paul actually said i should have objected more strongly and... More

o after thinking for almost a month on how to write this review I think I've gotten it now. Bottom line: you're paying for the history and location and name. The location is nice I will say, but still far from a lot of attractions, but the noise of the location is atrocious. Even 17 floors up it's horrible. We... More

I'm a long way from being George Clooney and this hotel is a longer way away from being deserving of a AAA Four Diamond Rating. Oddly enough I still don't look like George Clooney but the 2014 AAA ratings for this property remain at 4 Diamonds. Wow. Maybe there is hope for me. First let me say that only weeks... More

I wasn't sure what to think of the hotel when I arrived....it is an old historic hotel, but it's extremely well located and the staff was fantastic. Just get your head wrapped around the fact that it's a somewhat quirky layout but the rooms are large and well appointed. I would recommend this hotel.

The location is great. Our favorite steak restaurant (Morton's) was just across an alley way and there was lots of shopping close by. At check in, the young man behind the front desk was snobby and somewhat rude. The room itself was quite ordinary and comfortable. The bathroom was very small as one would expect in an older building. The... More

This hotel was my home away from home for approximately 18 months. The staff was fabulous, accommodations first class, cleanliness was impeccable. Great location, walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars, and businesses. It was always decorated beautifully and when I arrived each week, they greeted me like I was family. The restaurant is lovely and got to watch a... More

The employees could not be more helpful and that is the nicest thing we can say. The room was tacky...the picture over the bed was missing but not the hangers, one of the curtain holders was missing, a sheets on the bed was torn and it was the worst bed we have ever had.....lumpy, broken down etc. the last big... Spent a night here recently and enjoyed it. Impressive staff and intimate feel to the place. Room was ordinary but solid, only real issues were the hallway noise and the light coming in thru the room door from the hallway at night. Also the wi-fi in the room was free but that meant accepting charges which appear on your statement... More

We stayed here March 2013, it was a while ago I know, but it was extremely memorable! Location: Absolutely amazing location, right on S. Broad Street! Driving and arriving here is amazing, coming down the grand avenue past city hall and arriving to this huge landmark hotel. It reminded me so much of The Plaza in New York City (which... More
