I had the most perfect weekend at the bellevue! Going for my anniversary/graduation I was greeted by a super friendly staff! We were upgraded to the avenue suite due to availability and were absolutely amazed by the beauty! When entering the room we saw a beautiful amenity in our room for our special occasion. Not only was the customer service... More

My company hosts their annual Christmas Party here every year. Considering the fact we require a venue that will hold a thousand persons comfortably that is no small feat. The Bellevue emanates excellence from the moment you walk in the door. Parking is in the garage either valet or via self park. The event I attend starts with a coat... More

Well, I must say any event that will cater to 1000 people is certainly an undertaking but that is the challenge, and we are always up for it! So glad you enjoyed the banquet and that you and peers could celebrate all of your hard work in style! The Grand Ballroom is one of a kind and we take special... More

I stayed two nights in the course of a business trip in North America. Room very comfortable maybe a bit noisy with people moving in the corridor outside. Best moment is the breakfast in this splendid and spacious room on the 19th floor. Very kind personnel.

Thank you for taking the time to review your most recent stay. It is wonderful to hear you enjoyed breakfast in our lovely 19th floor restaurant. XIX is an amazing venue and what tops it off is the great staff who take care of all our clientele. We will certainly make sure to share this with them as they will... More

What could be better than spending time with the family over Thanksgiving, watching the parade downtown in an amazing city and then, retiring to charming accommodations where the staff are ready to ensure a memorable experience? So glad you gave us the opportunity to make that picture come to life! Hopefully you can stopover again real soon. All the best! More

We were attending a party at the hotel and decided to spend the night. We were not disappointed. From the very beginning, we felt pampered. The parking valet came right up to us and apologized for taking too long (I don't know why as we had just pulled in). The desk clerk was very personable and sweet. Our room was... More

Stayed on the night before Thanksgiving, we only live 45 minutes out of the city, but wanted to get away for a day for shopping and a nice dinner before Thanksgiving. The hotel is in an excellent location right on broad street, easy walking to all the good spots downtown. Had a Bellevue Suite on the corner, not a real... More

Isn't the Sporting Club amazing? So glad you found your way over as it is a real unique amenity we offer all of our guests. We take an annual trip to Philadelphia for Thanksgiving, and always Priceline a hotel. Previous locations we've stayed in this manner were the Loews, the Hyatt at Penns Landing (three times), and Le Meridien (twice). This year's "winner" was the Hyatt at the Bellevue. The location is perfect, right on Broad Street near City Hall and just a few blocks... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our historic hotel. We are glad to know you enjoyed the amazing ambiance of the 19th floor and took in some of the cities most spectacular views. That said, we were upset to know the rest of your stay was a disappointment. Rest assured that we have addressed the concerns with the... More

Initially disappointed, I've decided to give it another try - the hotel improved tremendously over the last twelve months and while there is still a bit of confusion between 'oldish' and 'luxury', it is a great and well located proprety, smaller than most of similar hotels, with a bit of human size factor that makes it nice and compensates for... Thank you for your fantastic review. Our goal is to always improve and we are excited to hear that we improved and exceeded your expectations since your first visit . I stayed over 4 nights for a business meeting in their facilities. The hotel is a nice piece of architecture from the beginnings of past century when it was built as the Bellevue Stratford Hotel. In many ways, the hotel is a standing witness of what was considered luxurious in the hospitality industry by the time. Probably, the most luxurious... More

Thank you for your wonderful comments. The Bellevue Building certainly is an architectural beauty and we are so glad to hear it made an impact on your stay. Through the years, the building has gone through multiple changes, some unfortunate events as you mentioned (and now a thing of the past), and of course welcomed some incredible personalities and dignitaries.... I stayed 2 nights here on a business trip while a convention was in town, so options were more limited than usual. However, I was impressed with how an impressive old building was turned into a modern hotel. First, location is right in Center City, so walkable to most businesses there (not to mention all those steakhouses). When you walk... More
