We have stayed several times in this hotel, as weekend tourists with kids. The location is teriffic, you can walk one direction and comfortably reach the museums, or head in the other direction for Liberty Bell, etc. The hotel is old and has lots of ambience, but some areas could use a face lift. The carpets, wall paper, ball rooms... More

We stayed three nights at this hotel. Although we didn't take advantage of many of the amenities it was conveniently located in downtown near fun stuff, quiet, clean and comfortable. We did take advantage of their business center a couple of times. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and resourceful as we were out of towners. I would go... More

It's 6:30 in the morning on Friday 9/19, I'm sitting in a pitch dark hotel room and my heart is beating out of my chest... Why? Because apparently the hotel lost power... The issue is with how they decided to alert their sleeping guests... Apparently their is a PA system in the rooms. So I am dead asleep and all... More

Stayed at the downtown Hyatt a few days after having stayed at the Riverside Hyatt in August. I found the Bellevue much more to my liking. The Bellevue is in the heart of downtown, amidst the amenities you would want to have - restaurants, bars and shopping - while visiting a large city. The hotel is older, but in nice... More

Stayed one night . Old and uncomfortable. They said we could have an upgrade to a newly renovated room with a king bed for 20 bucks . On the way to the room an employee was speaking to another couple and stated the hotel will get a renovation next year . I asked if our room on the 12 the... More

In hundreds of visits to hotel fitness centers, I have never seen the equal of The Sporting Club which the Hyatt uses as its fitness center. The Sporting Club is a standalone and very successful health club, but it's exceedingly convenient to access through a 4th floor skywalk. The Hyatt Bellevue couldn't be more centrally located for theater and business... More

We were told when making the reservation that there is no charge for parking but, we paid $40 for ONE NIGHT to park! internet was $7 for 15 mins and everything was overpriced. Don't believe all that you read on their site most of it isn't true!

Stayed two nights while we settled our son at college. Our room was on the 16th floor and was spotless. staff was very accommodating. Complaints: the beds, extremely soft with uncomfortable pillows. Location: Location is great for shopping and seeing downtown but the hotel is located on a busy street and very noisy. Highly recommend asking for upper floor, as... More

Yes, this is a Hyatt, but it looks like The Stanley Hotel. This property is old, dirty, and creepy. I stayed here for 3 nights and could not wait to get out! Yes, this is an historic property and I'm sure that it looked awesome in the 1920s...but today not so much. I noticed dust in the air vents, dust... More

I stayed here with my son. We booked a Bellevue Suite that could use a rehab. Our room was very tired and actually had uneven wood on the floor. We both kept catching our feet on it. The location can not be beat though. We did enjoy the breakfast on the top floor. With so many choices in Philly I... More
