I attended a large business conference at this hotel, and it handled the event and the crowd pretty well. The rooms are pretty standard but very comfortable and clean. Food quality and service were very good, and the check in/check out was efficient, especially given the hotel's size. The workout facilities are very good, and the pool is nice, though... More

The Good: The Hotel is central in the city and easy to walk to many great places. We got a pretty good rate from the conference we were staying at. The service from the bell hops and valet was excellent. Check in was super fast and easy. The room was clean and relatively nice. The Not So Good: We were... More

Wonderful location right above a train/subway stop. Nice rooms. Pleasant staff, but they give you very little for being Gold status, only a $10 credit (for 2 people) for breakfast, with the lounge closed on the weekend. Fairly expensive as well. Otherwise a comfortable property in a great location. Quiet, with no conventions, thankfully.

We stayed here during the AHA convention. (American Homebrewers association) The hotel was a great location because of the convention. Super busy, and the escalators quit working periodically. The front desk staff were helpful.

This is one of the very few Marriotts nationwide that does not provide free breakfast for gold and platinum guests. Also, this Marriott closes their club lounge on the weekend. To make up for this they give gold and platinum guests 1000 points, that I estimate is worth about $5 given the recent devaluation of points. It is not easy... More

Great location, clean, comfortable, huge/inviting lobby. With the location next to the Reading terminal market, breakfast is super fun!! So many delicious foods are brought in by Amish vendors. YUM. If you like donuts, holy cow! The donuts are fabulous..just walking through the terminal market is fun. There is a large parking structure nearby, but I think we would choose... More

I stayed here with my students and some of their parents for a national speech competition. The hotel was fine-standard Marriott, which is almost always good, but be prepared. This hotel is huge- one of the largest I have ever stayed in. if you are looking for small and quaint, this is not the place. If you are looking for... More

Stayed for a business trip. The hotel is HUGE! Very nice and rooms and service by the staff. My room was a bit small for the price but there was nothing to really complain about. You must valet park your car which is a bit expensive. There is lots of shops inside the hotel and near by and pliantly of... More

I was there 4 days for business at the Convention Center which was connected to the hotel. It took me 6 minutes to walk from my room to work. Location, location, location -- center city, history at its best -- you don't need to go outside to get on the subway, a large selection of restaurants within walking distance. Reading... More

My husband and I just stayed here this past weekend for a last minute weekend getaway. The hotel was very nice and in a great location. It is right across the street from the Reading Terminal Market when you exit on Filbert St. It is in walking distance to old city and other fun neighborhoods. Room was clean and had... More
