We stayed here for just one night recently after a Phillies game. The Hotel was quite large, and featured a significant amount of amenities (including two boarding pass printing kiosks). The price we paid was much less than their average rate, and for a downtown hotel, I thought the rate was very reasonable. The location is the best feature about... More

We stayed at this hotel to attend a convention next door in a concierge level room and I was not at all impressed. The room was quite average. The bathtub drain was rusty. The bath floor mat looked like it had been used several times and not washed!! Yuck!!!! I immediately shoved it away with my shoes. The pillows were... More

Booked this through Priceline for $70 a night. If I'd paid full price I'd have been pretty irate. We asked for a room with a fridge, and when we got to the room, no fridge. Went to the Reading Market, and when we returned the fridge was dumped in the middle of the floor. Fine. Next day returned to the... More

The offerings are basically what one expects from the Marriott chain. Surprisingly, the broadband provision is very dated for a business hotel. The modem that was provided had a missing cable, and the customer service desk had consistently denied that the cable was missing and sent a technician to take a look only 1.5 hours later. By the time the... More

I truly enjoyed my stay. The room was clean. The smell was fresh. And the staff was all professional from the moment the cab dropped me off at the front door.

King room in original tower was nice size, and very comfortable bed with a LOT of pillows. Cannot speak to the "Deluxe Tower". But the halls and furnishings are a tad dated. Similarly, the bathroom fixtures and counters were older and worn. Great location. 20 yards to Reading Terminal, and a cheap cab to nightlife on Spring Garden. $12.95 for... More

This is a standard giant sized mid-town Marriott. They are all pretty much the same. To save money I booked on Priceline [$60.00 + fees] for a weekend night. As the hotels are now savvier about priceline they are tending to sell their least desirable rooms to people who book on Priceline. That's o.k. with me. But it has been... More

I attend the same conference every year in downtown Philly and stay at the cheaper of this hotel, the Residence Inn and the Courtyard all of which are within a block of each other. This year, at the conference rate, the 'full service' Marriott was the cheapest ergo it got my custom! It was a fine experience and I'd happily... More

The hotel was just fine overall, what you'd expect from a large chain. However, we needed a crib for our one year old. The pack n' play we got was filthy! It literally had dried vomit on the mattress. We didn't have time to exchange it (since it took them forever to get it to us and we had to... More

Just spent a Saturday night at the Marriott and it was a great stay...especially for the price. If you have yet to discover naming your own price at Priceline.com, I suggest you try it because we got this hotel for $79 (including taxes). Of course no guarantees but worth the shot! The hotel is perfectly located near City Hall. You... More
