For business travelers, and even most leisure travelers, reliable, trouble-free laptop internet access is a must. Yet this Marriott has still not figured out how to provide that reliable, trouble-free internet connection. Here is my experience: Got to hotel room, had two hours to go before business meeting, and needed to use every minute to catch up on email correspondence.... More

The minute I arrived at the Marriott, I thought it was a very nice hotel. At check in I asked the Rep for a window with a scenery and was advised that all the windows look at buildings. Upon reaching my room on the 12th floor with laptop, luggage, etc. in tow. I noticed I was given a King size... More

Beautiful hotel. Great restaurants and subway near by. Parking expensive and slow to get you your car, but convenient. We had two rooms, one with doubles the other with a King and at check in requested a roll a way bed. We were told no problem. After checking in at 4:30 pm we went to dinner. At 7pm after dinner... We stayed at this hotel on the last night of our week-long trip before flying back home. I won it on Priceline for $58.00. We had a rental car and opted for Marriott's valet parking so we would have in/out privileges. (With tax it came to $43.20) This hotel appears mammoth upon entry and is definitely a convention hotel. We... More

Pros: - Walkable distance to Independence Hall and the Visiting Center - I was able to book it on Priceline, so I got the rooms for half of what it is listed on Expedia - It's right in front of the subway station Cons: - Parking was pretty expensive ($45 per night or so?) at the hotel but you could... Stayed here for 4 nights due to business travel- this hotel directly connect to Conference Center- big plus. The hotel is older- there is some wear and tear in places, but it is in a great location. Next to Reading Terminal Market- not just a farmer's market, but have booths that sell cheese steak sandwiches, ice cream, great Amish breakfast,... More

This big , constantly busy property epitomises multi-national , corporate , ideas of decor , service ,and comfort...all of a fairly high standard ,but leaves a guest feeling completely anonymous. In saying that , it is difficult to pick out anything that was actually wrong with this hotel . Good location in centre city , direct connection to Septa rail... More

Stayed for one night after the hotel we originally had reservations at was too noisy. The bed was super comfortable. Room stayed dark so you didn't get woken up by the sun. Bed was super comfortable. You don't have to park at the Marriott since valet parking was expensive and there were always crowds of people waiting for their cars.... More

The valet service was very good. Self parking was $47/night. Quiet - didn't hear sirens during the night like other hotels.
