We stayed at this comfortable, welcoming Courtyard Marriott while visiting the Curtis Institute of Music. We will definitely stay here again the next time we need to be in downtown Philadelphia. The prices when we stayed were quite reasonable for such a comfortable, pleasant hotel in such a great location! Our room was sunny and clean and cozy. The beds... More

We really liked the hotel. The property was in great shape. The room was really nice, though the coffee machine was broken. The staff were very friendly and upgraded our room at no charge. The location is excellent and walking distance to everything. The hotel is very wheelchair accessible. The Redding Terminal market nearby was a great place to grab... More

This property has good central location. Walking distance to all the attractions in the Philly downtown. The staff are friendly and helpful. I got a corner room which had a better view to the main streets. Good experience and warmly recommended.

We chose this hotel for the location and it turned out to be great, close to the trolley line and walking distance to the historic sights. Parking was about a block away and reasonably priced. They also offered valet parking but it was not necessary to use it. The hotel itself is a renovated historic building, and the staff were... More

Stayed at the Courtyard for a friend's wedding recently. Having stayed here before, I knew it would be a quality experience, and it was. Check in was a breeze, the room was nice and clean with good maid service, and the hotel bar was cozy, albeit overpriced like most hotel bars. Also the location is simply unbeatable. Center City Philly... More

This hotel was so centrally located that we could comfortably walk to all of the attractions that we wanted to see! In every direction! The staff was very nice and accommodating. The room was immaculate and so beautiful.. The vast windows gave us a view for several blocks. We wanted for nothing. The breakfast buffet was grand and very extensive.... More

In general, this is a great hotel in a perfect location with very nice and clean rooms. However, on a closer look, there is some room for improvement: * When you are told at check-in that your room has a great view, but you end up in a room staring at the court house that is blocking any possible view... The location of this hotel is amazing! It is located close to many historical sites, restaurants and attractions. My only complaint is the prices that are being charged. Valet parking for a night is $50, that includes tax. Yikes! Also, my husband and I had drinks at the bar before dinner one night--a beer, two gin and tonics and a... More

It was a conveniently located hotel for us. Juniper St is walking distance to many historical sites. It could have been a great stay, except for issue with our bed. We didn't notice until we were done sightseeing and went to bed that the bed was tilted, sunken, and foot of bed was quite a bit higher that rest of... More

Dear florida1950, Thank you for choosing Courtyard Philadelphia Downtown. We were pleased to learn that you enjoyed our excellent location, with easy access to all attractions in Center City. We were also pleased that you enjoyed our bar, called 1926 in honor of the year the hotel was built. We were disappointed to learn of your problem with the bed.... More

This hotel is one of the best courtyard hotels I've stayed at. The stuff is top notch, very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel itself is located downtown and is very close to historical sites, restaurants, and bars. I used valet parking about $50 with taxes included for one night. Valet service very attentive. One thing... More
