The rooms here are basic. Comfortable bed, white linens that are fairly plush and soft, flat screen TV. There is no refrigerator, no coffee pot and shower only. I recommend asking for a room on the ends so there is little noise from other tenants. Ours was #1, which is on the end toward the road, but we really noticed... More

I'm not sure if the Washington St Health Department grades restaurants and motels but, if they did, The Tyee Cafe and Motel would get an F, for the smell of the place alone! Moldy, Mildewy(?), Musty, Sour, smell! Cobwebs in the corners, lime (or calcium?) build up on shower head. No place to lay a comb, brush or toothpaste tube... More

Unfortunately, I spent the night at The Tyee Motel and ate at TheTyee Café before I thought to do a Google search and read the reviews. On a vacation road trip, Hung around Front St. later than I planned and all the B&Bs were booked but, wasn't ready to leave the area yet. Was told that this was the only... More

Stayed 1 night at Tyee Motel and that was TOO LONG!! Asked to see the room first and was told that housekeeping had not cleaned the rooms yet (12 rooms and 12:30 in the afternoon), come back after 2pm. When I checked in, I told the Owner that I had a service animal and was informed that any animal, including... More

Pros: price, location, & restaurant. The restaurant had good sea food, the prices were good, and gave generous portions. Cons: the motel smelled of mildew and a lot of the units did not have screens on the front window. No air conditioning. To check in you have to go to the bar. The wi-fi didn't work all the time. The... More

The only reason I gave it two stars was because the bed was comfortable, the bedding decent, and the room was clean enough (although the carpet seriously needs to be replaced.) Otherwise, I'd say this place is pretty much an overpriced dump. First off, I was pretty shocked that you have to check-in at their trashy bar. Not a good... More

No phone, No coffee maker, Hair (lots) in the bottom of the shower unit. Big cobwebs in the corners. No discount for breakfast, have to check in at the busy noisey Bar. Updated?????? the bedding perhaps. Bottom line.... a hell of a nerve charging 79.00 for this dump. We Paid the same price at Fidaglo Country Inn.... 50 times better... More

This an old place that is a bit overpriced for what it is, but the bed was comfortable and clean and there was no crazy noise at night - also a good location. Considering that everything else in the Coupeville area are mostly expensive B & B's, this was OK. However, we were with a group and the 2 couples... More

This was a last min. trip, all other hotels there being a little spendy and full. Check in at the bar?? I looked at the web site before making reservations. Decided they would do. Get there get our keys, they are having a new roof put on the restaurant, which went on to 7pm. The TV's didn't work, the staff... More

The motel is clean and comfortable. The price is right. We came in late and left early the next morning. After spending several nights in hotels and motels for much more, it was a relief to take a break. The walls are thin but the bed is comfy and it is clean. The breakfast was terrific as were the people.... More
