This was our first time on Whidbey Island. It was made all the more pleasurable thanks to our stay at the Anchorage Inn. This was our first visit to the Anchorage Inn and it was everything we expected and more! The pictures on the website are exactly what you get plus there's lots of thoughtful little touches that you won't see until you are there in person. Dave and Dianne are wonderful hosts and make you instantly feel like you are 'at home'.... More

A B&B can be frightening to some. Staying with strangers is a spooky thought. The Anchorage Inn B&B has a floor plan that takes that away and gives our guests a home away from home. D&D More

Visiting Whidbey Island after a many year hiatus we chose to stay in Coupeville rather than Oak Harbor (which has become very busy and commercial). The Anchorage Inn B&B turned out to be a real jewel (but also quite popular so not easy to book). During our stay Inn-sitters Liz and Gary were in charge and we could not have... More

We chose the Anchorage Inn because of its close proximity to a house my brother's large family rented in Coupeville. We wanted our own home base and had never stayed at a B&B before. Our experience was nothing short of excellent. The Innkeepers were on vacation and the interim Innkeepers, Liz and Gary, were exceptional in every way. We weren't... More

We agree with you, "We could never find a better couple than Gary and Liz" to fill in for us when we're away for a length of time. Although the height of season, our B&B never skipped a beat while we were away. D&D More

We have been coming to Coupeville for several years and always plan to stay at the Anchorage Inn. Hosts Dave and Dianne go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Their Inn is so comfortable and refreshing. Their food preparation and presentation is terrific. Coupeville is an interesting place and either Dave or Dianne can give you any information... More

Thank you for such kind remarks. Coupeville has so much to share, and is so well preserved and located that it's hard not to help our guests enjoy their visit. Your innkeepers, Dave and Dianne More

This B&B was an excellent place to stay to enjoy Whidbey Island and take a ferry to Port Townsend. There are great restaurants to walk to, beautiful beach walks nearby and a great place to just sit and watch the sunset while enjoying a glass of wine.

The day we stayed at the Anchorage Inn we took a hike along the beach. We walked several miles along a rocky beach and discovered that the trail back up to the bluff was washed out. Not wanting to negotiate the beach rocks, we continued on the sandy beach until another trail up the bluff. However, all this took much... More

You are in for a real treat if you make it to Whidbey Island, Washington and choose to stay with Dave and Dianne, innkeepers at the Anchorage Inn B&B in Coupeville. The hospitality was tops and the rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfasts were outstanding. Convenience to nearby shops and restaurants on Penn Cove was nice. A Great Place... More

What a delightful 4 days we spent in the Crow's Nest of the Anchorage B&B! An amazingly comfortable large room, fabulous views over the bay and the town, gourmet breakfasts served by the charming hosts, and a bottomless cookie jar at all hours of the day! It was a perfect location to make walks to the waterfront, main street, restaurants,... More

Because we're just a skip and a hop from so many areas, Coupeville is in the Central Whidbey region of Whidbey Island. A great place to put a "bottomless cookie jar". D&D More

The Anchorage Inn Bed and Breakfast is a Victorian Inn, located on beautiful Whidbey Island, in Puget Sound, Washington. Our award winning B&B can be found in the historic town of Coupeville, overlooking picturesque Penn Cove. Coupeville was home to many of the Northwest's sea captains during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Many historic homes still grace the streets of this Central Whidbey town.
