My wife surprised me with a weekend getaway to Whidbey Island, during which we spent a night at Anchorage B&B. We were very pleased with the quality of our stay and would recommend Anchorage to others planning to be in the area. The building itself has a lot of charm and comfort...not two things I typically combine in one sentence.... More

This was our first time staying overnight in Coupeville and we were very happy we had chosen the Anchorage Inn B&B. It lived up to all our expectations and then some. From the moment we stepped inside, seeing its beautiful interior with its golden woodwork and attractive antique furnishings, we knew we'd chosen the right place. Our hosts were very... More

Coupeville is a step back in time into America that we all love. We'll have our Memorial Day parade this Sat pass right in front of the inn, followed by FREE hotdogs and pop in the Town Park for everyone to enjoy while the navy band entertains from the pavilion. D&D's B&B for R&R More

This Inn was exactly as we expected: welcoming and comfortable. Our room was the "Onward" room in the turret on the front of the building and had a great view of the water and town. The hosts were very friendly and informative about the area (restaurants, activities, sights, etc.) and the breakfasts were awesome. This B&B is centrally located on... More

Central Whidbey is surrounded with history, a photographers paradise, beaches and trails for hiking and fine restaurants. We now have bicycles for rent. This island has 5 towns and cities on it and they're all different. Coupeville is a good starting point. Thanks for coming. Dave and Dianne. More

We were looking for a special place to celebrate our 25th anniversary and the Anchorage Inn was "special" and so much more. The inn was cozy and quiet with a beautiful wrap around porch facing the waterfront. Our room was unique with a comfortable four-poster bed and lovely antique furniture. Diane and Dave were absolutely delightful - - and the... More

We were looking for a weekend away from all the busyness of our lives and we found it. The inn was quiet and relaxing with a very nice wrap around porch with lots of seating. It was close to town shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. Dave and Dianne were very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were delicious. Enjoyed having... More

As summer approaches, guests gather on the porch prior to breakfast, throughout the day and into the evening. It's a great place to meet others, enjoy the view of Penn Cove and watch the world peacefully pass by. D&D's B&B for R&R More

Innkeepers Dave & Dianne were friendly and consummate hosts. Our room was clean and tidy; everything provided. Breakfasts were tasty and ample; conversation with the other inn guests around the breakfast table was an added bonus. The location is great as it is a short walk to town shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. We would highly recommend the Anchorage Inn... More

I have enjoyed this wonderful place for years. The host and hostess are always very cordial. The view is great and the breakfasts wonderful! They go out of their way to help you with local information and suggestions. Hot and cold beverages are always available along with home-baked goodies.

The Anchorage Inn B&B is the perfect place to stay, just a few steps from town with a great view! The rooms are very nice and clean, the breakfast was amazing. Innkeepers Dave and Dianne made sure our stay was all we asked for, the little added touches make a huge difference! We will be back next year!

Dave and Dianne are excellent hosts. The Inn is beautiful, clean and comfortable. You will immediately feel "at home" when you arrive. The downtown shops and restaurants are an easy walk away. Breakfast is delicious and filling! If you're planning a visit to Coupeville, stay at the Anchorage Inn - you won't regret it!

Staying in a strangers home can be almost an ordeal for some folks. We are so glad to hear you felt "comfortable" and "immediately felt "at home" when you arrived". That's the main reason we have so many returning guests. Thank you. Dave and Dianne More

Our one night stay in Anchorage Inn was nice. We like the view and the host. They also offered many dvd for us to spend our night. The bed was a little bit too soft for me, however it's still a nice one. It's near the waterfront and there are some good restaurants nearby.

Comfort to our guests is top priority. That's why we flip and rotate our mattresses regularly. We don't know what room you were in, but we are replacing the Fairhaven queen with a new special order king next month. Your innkeepers, Dave and Dianne More
