We are the, "Biggs HOG Chapter" of North San Diego County, California. A “Well Respected”, group of Motorcycle Enthusiast. We booked our stay at the Quality Inn at Mammoth Lakes, CA, from June 6 to 10, 2008. I and 60 other people with me can't begin to tell you just how accommodating this hotel was. The staff did everything to... more

The motel is noisy and my room facing the road was especially noisy. Since there is NO AC, you have to open the window to cool the room done and the noise from the street is awful. The temperature control has NO FAN setting, so you can't drown out the street noise with a fan (a floor fan was available,... more

We have stayed at the Quality Inn on several business trips to Mammoth Lakes in the past couple of years. We choose the hotel more because it fits within our budget guidelines than for amenities. That being said, the Quality Inn is more than a little bit on the dumpy side, which is not uncommon in ski resort areas. It... more

My recent stay at the Quality Inn was a partially controlled disaster. Much like the surrounding neighborhood, the premises left a lot to be desired. The hotel construction was mediocre, and there were no decorations to speak of. The lack of a/c may be a deal killer for some people, but my aunt and I survived. Had it been 5... more

Extremely clean rooms, great breakfast, very large spa. Staff was extremely nice. This is where I would stay again if I went back. Only problem was fact that the cable went out one night and we missed the end of a movie we were watching, but this was not a big deal. Room even had a fridge and microwave. I'd... more

Great place and they gave us AAA discount plus others we didnt even ask for. Staff was outstanding, rooms were a great value. The rooms lack A/C but then a lot of places in Mammoth do. Nights are generally cold at this elevation even in summer. Great location close to the mountain ,shops and restaurants and you get a fridge... more

The Quality rocks! It's going to sound like I work there. But I don't. I swear. I stayed here on my first trip to Mammoth and loved it from the start. We arrived at 8 a.m. (checkin was 4 pm) and they gave us a room immediately. The real beauty of this hotel is its location; I parked my car... more

This was not your average Quality Inn. We were disappointed immediately with the construction of the Inn., shoddy at best, and very noisy. It seemed that this Hotel had been "thrown up overnight" with no regard to solid/quiet construction. You could not even tiptoe down the hall without making noise. The Front desk was very helpful as were the Manager... more

We stayed here one night about 2 weeks ago, passing through town on our way from Las Vegas, NV to Yosemite Nat'l Park. This area is definately a nice little ski town to stay in, even in the off-season. This hotel was nothing fancy to look at, but had a convenient location in town, close to a variety of restaurants,... more

We stayed at the Quality Inn while visiting the Mammoth area for a friend's wedding. Mammoth Lakes is primarily a winter resort town, and we were scared off from many hotels in the area by reading reviews on this site. By that standard, the Quality Inn seems to be a decent value, although at about $130 it's much more expensive... more
