Mammoth lakes is widely considered as the best choice for snowboarding for people live in LA like us. We arranged at least two trips a month to there last season. Not all of my friends are crazy like us so Motel6 became our best choice to stay. The room is comfy and clean, right size for 2 or 3. Pretty... more

After a long day of driving, we stayed here one night before visiting Yosemite National Park for a week. This was the nicest Motel 6 I have ever stayed in. The room and bathroom were clean, it was well lit, and the room had a fridge and microwave. The price was very affordable. It's a Motel 6 and you could... more

I was a little concerned based on some previous reviews. We were traveling thru on the way to Reno for a motorcycle rally. When we checked in the room appeared to have been recently remodeled. Everything worked great and it was a nice location in the town. I was a little irritated that had to pay for internet service but... more

I know it's a Motel 6, supposed to be cheap and basic. I get that. But this was pretty bad, even for Motel 6 standards. First of all, when we came to check in, there was a line. That's fine, except it took them forever to get through the others in line before we got there. Once we got to... more

After a surprisingly positive experience at Motel 6 in Marina, CA, we arrived to this Motel 6 only a few days later. And what a difference. On paper this looked like a better deal, but in reality it was a lot worse. Internet was down, no hot water for several hours, poor and noisy A/C just as a few examples.... more

We came into town a little late, very tired, and needed a dog friendly place to stay. In desperation, this was where we ended up. Typical Motel 6, slightly smelly, a little noisy, very basic. The saving grace is Schat's bakery across the street, great coffee and breakfast. more

My partner and I made a quick, late night decision to stay one night in a cheap hotel room. It look a few minutes to get the room, but the service was nice. The rooms was basic. Everything seemed to be clean and I was surpised to see how nice and clean the bathroom was (normally that the worst part... more

I usually go to Mammoth a couple times a year during the ski season. I decided to get some fresh powder midweek at the last minute, and after looking around online decided to give the Motel 6 a try. This is a no-frills motel experience. The room was fine. It was small and clean, but nothing special. Basically what you'd... more
