We made reservations for 2 nights and canceled after the 1st. The person at the reservation desk seemed inexperienced. He didn't know where the visitor center was. We had reserved a downstairs room. We were assigned one upstairs and fortunately were able to get that changed. We were supposed to have a queen sized bed However,it was a double bed.... More

See review of Holiday Haus, Mammoth, from which I had to flee at 11:30 at night. The front desk guy was very nice both on the phone and at check in. Room was far above average for a Motel 6; two fairly small beds, but large enough. Bathroom was fine. Very quiet and clean. As noted, expensive for a Motel... More

I made a last minute decision to stay in Mammoth and just wanted clean, quiet, room, that was reasonably priced, and this Motel 6 more than met my expectations. The room was very clean, the TV, furniture, bathroom were all quite up to date. This was a perfect place to stay for a good night's rest at a reasonable rate.

Spent one night at the newly remodeled (furniture) Motel 6 in Mammoth Lakes. I had stayed there many times in the past only because room rate was the lowest in the area. This time, they raised the rate to $92 a night off season which is half the posted rated during the normal summer or winter season. The also did... More

Never before have my wife & I changed or minds about a hotel from start of stay-to check out. At first we hated this place, with it's newly remodeled, but absolutely character-free style. The longer we stayed, however, the more we came to appreciate the functional side of the design. In the end we both thought it was a good... More

This motel 6 is better than the last one I stayed at in Santa Ana ca. It was nice to find a small fridge and microwave in the room. However the wifi was very slow and a rip off not worth 2.99 for 24 hours and the shower was a bit dirty from the last guest I think. Across Main... More

Mammoth is expensive and this Motel 6 was one of the more reasonable places to stay. Our room was clean and fairly large. The bed was comfortable but the shower/bath towels were a joke. They were so thin you could practically see thru them. To save money we would stay here again.

I traveled with family on a 3 nite stay. Prior to leaving home I confirmed our room wouls have a refrig. When we arrived about 9 PM I was told there were no more rooms available with a fridge. After unloading luggage and dressing for bed we discovered the sheets had not been changed, only "re-made" as evidenced by make-up... More

My wife and I have stayed at Motel 6's all the West coast for many years, including the one at Mammoth Lakes on previous occasions. In general, Motel 6's are a mixed bag: some quite good, others mediocre. Our previous stays at Mammoth Lakes had been satisfactory and uneventful, so we were surprised by what we encountered this time. Our... More
