The room and Motel as a whole are very nice to the naked Eye .Sleeping there is a whole different story Try to stay upstairs as you can hear every little thing that happens above you As the rooms have no Carpet!! which completely amplifies everything. a rolling suitcase sounds like a Airplane landing at LAX and we thought that... Stayed for a few days after Christmas at around $160 a night. That was cheap considering the other hotels. It is way too pricey for what you get. You could hear every step that the guests above us were taking. It kept me up every night. There is a shuttle that picks you up near the hotel that can take... More

While the walls are still thin, my return to Motel 6 was much improved since their renovation! The rooms are much nicer, cleaner, more comfortable and dare I stay...stylish! I really appreciated the updates they made with the decor and linens. Its still Motel 6, nothing fancy, but its fresh, clean and comfortable now. I also learned that if you... More

Yes, it's expensive. It's Mammoth Lakes, and it is ski season. But compared to the competition, this hotel has got to be one of the best values around. Friendly front desk clerks, clean recently remodeled room, and most importantly a clean bathroom. Bed was a little hard but no big deal. Best part of this motel is the location --... More

It's Motel 6. It's basic, clean and comfortable with no frills. The staff was helpful and pleasant even though there was a long line checking during our check-in. What I love about Motel 6 is that you basically get what you expect for the price. My theory is, once you close your eyes to go to sleep all hotel rooms... More

The staff was very friendly and the room was fine however the bed! Holy hell, the bed. I've stayed at many cheap places, a few expensive places and lots of in between and have never experienced a bed that bad. It made me long for a cement slab. I'll have to pass on staying there again.

This is an updated motel 6 for sure. We didn't have any problems - were only staying one night as a stopover on our way to Tahoe. The woman at the front desk was very helpful at checkin, making sure that we got a room in a quiet area of the hotel. The room itself was clean. No hair dryer... More

I suspect the prices are higher in the winter. We have stayed here twice and it is typically motel 6, except for the visiting bears and raccoons make it pretty special for overseas visitors like ourselves. We love the town too.

We needed a ground floor room with parking outside and although the hotel seemed very empty they could only provide a ground floor room with parking a short ways away. The room is sparse, no closet, no chest of drawers, no rack for suitcases, with a bed, a wooden chair a table coming out of the wall and a one... More

We staid for one night (Friday) passing through on our way to Yosemite. The room was very clean and stuff was friendly. Parking right in front of the room. We found the prize of $100 a bit expensive, however, others hotels nearby where more expensive.
