After a long day hiking sometimes in the cold rain, I was relieved finally getting into their lobby at about 8:55pm. No one there at front desk. I rang the bell, called out, no one showed. Around 9pm, a lady manager showed up, non-appologetic at all. I was like, "thank you for finally showing up", she immediately took as offense... More

If you are on a budget, I recommend staying at the motel 6 down the street. The Rodeway Inn is managed by people who think their place is just fine. Meanwhile the building has rot everywhere, trash on the ground, the room was so heavily scented you could taste it on your mouth. And many windows have no screens, and... More

Stayed here three nights while skiing in Mammoth in part because they accept pets (for a $10 nightly fee) and because I've seen the motel for many years but never tried it. Had a room with a king bed and it was quite large. I questioned the bed initially but it was fine and I slept great. The owner is... More

As one of the reviewer put it, you get what you pay for here. But I mean in it in a positive way, you can't expect five-star luxury for this price. What we did get was a huge (the room was bigger than many of our appartments we used to live when were newly married) room with two massive king... More

Let me first off just say the customer service here is awesome! Everyone is so friendly and on point! They re did the carpet so everything smells very clean and the rooms are HUGE! Very spacious. Hot tub is always working and most of the time almost everytime they have rooms readily available to check in early if you wanna... More

If you don't have the dough for the macked out cabin and just need a great place to lay your head down in between mountain runs, the Rodeway is a good choice. Bare bones motel but with in room mini fridge, coffeemaker, microwave...everything the boarder/skier on a budget could ever want. Great heater, nice manager, clean sheets, lame towels (... More

Yes, it's the cheapest motel in Mammoth, but as the saying goes -- you get what you pay for. Was given a small room with one double bed which isn't an issue as I was traveling solo. But the property hasn't been remodeled in at least 20 years. Paint is peeling from the exterior walls. There was water dripping onto... More

I stayed for 3 nights. The owner was friendly and super helpful. It was an easy walk to the Village, as well as other restaurants and bars on Main Street. The room was basic, but had everything I needed - decent bed, coffee machine, heater, microwave, fridge, tv - and it was clean. The wifi was good enough for me... More

I was a party of 3 and always got two bath towels. Bathroom light fixture fell out of the ceiling. Used washcloths from previous guest was still in the bathroom upon arrival. You could write our name in the thickness of dust on the headboards. Plugs were missing to connect the lamps into outlets. Handles on cabinets were loose or... More

A budget hotel with large rooms. The room was large enough to have a mini baseball game. Bed were fine though little springy. Furniture needs to be refurbished. Friend desk staff was helpful and providing very good information on where locals visit and how best of make use of our time in Mammoth Lakes. Toiletries were limited and suggestion is... More
