We took advantage of a weekday winter special, which was a discounted stay plus a large gift certificate to the restaurant on site. The restaurant is a bit spendy, but we had our best meal ever there (look for another review). But I digress to the review at hand...the resort. We stayed in one of the smaller 1 bedroom cabins,... My husband first brought me to Convict Lake 25 years ago. We camped in the campground for a few years. As we've gotten older, we've transitioned to the cabins. We/I have stayed in 11 of the 20+ cabins...most of them multiple times. They are always comfortable, clean, well-maintained & well stocked. Since we have been coming up here for so... More

The new cabins are spacious and very livable, but extremely expensive, especially considering there is no maid service at all. Well, if you leave your towels on the porch rail before 10am, they will exchange them. The view from our cabin was mostly into the windows of other cabins, but just over the ridge is one of the most beautiful... More

Great venue! The setting can't be beat. The food was great, the staff was so helpful. Mike the planner was the best. Everything went smoothly even though it rained except for the half hour when we were able to do the ceremony. That was lucky. It was great for family and friends to mostly stay right there in the cabins... More

We stayed here to break up the drive from Las Vegas to Yosemite. It was a lovely place to stay, great cabin and very clean. There as under floor heating in the bathroom and a small fire in the living room, the whole place was warm and cosy. Would recommend staying here for a night, comfy beds and a nice... More

We were blown away at the beautiful cabin we stayed in last year! It was clean, with charming rustic furnishings, luxury bathroom and kitchen, full amenities. Quite a departure from some of the old, worn out cabin lodgings in the area. We were delighted to return again this year to another new cabin, equally comfortable, clean and luxurious! The owners... We recently spent three nights at the Convict Lake Resort and enjoyed it very much. The cabin was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, although we would have preferred a smaller bed just to have a little more room to move around. We were concerned about cooking, but found the kitchen to be stocked with everything we needed. The outside deck... More

We spent 3 nights at Convict Lake Resort and came home relaxed and renewed. We stayed in a studio cabin with just room enough for two. It had been redone in 2013 and was very nice. Great shower! The kitchen was all new and very nice with everything you needed if you wanted to cook. This resort offers something for... More

My mom and I spent 2 days here in a new (2012) studio cabin with king bed. This is a great mountain resort that will accommodate families who want to cook their own meals, fishermen who want to camp and have a drink in the lounge, couples who want a romantic retreat (and upscale restaurant with great wine list). Cabins... More

The cabins are new now (different from before) and nice. But, they are expensive, The resort is now geared to bus loads of people coming in for lunch . .under the white canopy (not really "mountainish" at all!) The restaurant was a SHOCK as to price! We had ONE entrée (which we shared) . .osso bocco . . plus two... More

We have a variety of cabins. The cabin that this guest stayed in is almost new and complete with vaulted ceiling, log furniture, fireplace, heated floors, propane grille, stainless steel kitchen and glass tiled shower. We believe it is priced quite modestly compared to similar properties. We do offer smaller original cabins with fewer amenities at a lower price point.... More
