Greeted by friendly lady when we checked in. Rooms were reasonable size, clean etc. We had a problem with the coffee maker and it was changed in 2 or 3 mins. Breakfasts are decent and if you're so inclined, there's a sauna and spa. Mammoth is well placed for sightseeing (anyone who stays here should take a trip up to... More

The hotel looked nice from the outside but not special. However once inside it was a different story. The rooms were nice including everything one can expent for a hotel in this price. There was a lovely sitting room with a nice view from huge windows and a large open fireplace, tea and coffee supplied, a computer for guests use... More

To me it's obvious the owners of this property don't like to spend money on guest comfort but do like rpromoting the property as something at a much higher level. Examples: "In room closet"-a rack on the wall next to the bed with unremovable hangers . Thin sheets, old blankets. Grout between the tile in the bathroom separating and opening... More

What a fantastic place we were so amazed when we arrived in this resort ..we got there in March having driven Down from Las Vegas through Death Valley a beautiful drive we arrived and what a sight it was ,it was covered in snow with the Christmas tree lights still up as the weather had not allowed them to be... We stayed in Mammoth for one night during our west coast trip. I would have loved to have stayed the extra night but this was a last minute booking once we got the news that the Tioga Pass was open saving us the long swing from Yosemite to Lone Pine. The hotel itself is on the main street in Mammoth... More

Positives: Clean, walking distance to restaurants & supermarket, park across the street for kids. Friendly staff. Looks like hotel going through renovation and updating. Negative: The stairs into hotel and once into the hotel no elevator. Guests have to carry luggage into hotel and up the stairs to their room. This hotel does not have ramps etc. Not advised for... We got pretty much what others have said here. Very clean rooms, nice showers and nice staff. The spa down stairs was a nice surprise but be careful the hot tub seems to be in an endless cycle of heating up, until your cooked! It was very hot indeed. The steam room has the steam exhaust fitted on the ceiling?... More

Nice hotel in a lovely location overlooking the mountains. The room was a good size and we enjoyed the fluffy towels and bath robes! It would be advised to use the fan at night as the room can be very hot, one of the members of our party almost fainted in the morning due to stuffy heat in room. The... More

Stayed 2 nights here on a business trip. Found it to be a relatively pleasurable experience. Reservation was a bit of a problem - wanted a same-day resv. but their reservation provider wouldn't take the same day as valid. Used Expedia instead. The lady at the desk was very friendly. She gave me a room on the first floor, but... More

just stayed the 1 night. Arrived at 10pm and no worries checking inn. Nice sized and clean room with a really nice bathroom. Comfortable bed also. Breakfast pretty basic. Some cereal, ham, muffins, toast etc. The manager was really friendly (although he sent me off the devils post pile and I found out when I got close that it had... More
