We stayed here in early October 2013, our second stay. It was wonderful. The area is a beautiful Alpine Lake - Mary. Good fishing, easy boating and just gorgeous scenery. They have a dock and rent boats. It is about 10 minutes to town via old Mammoth road. Sitting at 9000 feet, the air is clean and clear, the stars... More

We stayed at Ruby cabin for 3 nights during Sept. After reading the reviews we expected very basic cabin but were happily surprised. First of all the location is magnificent, right beside lake marry. Our cabin had a lake view and we loved having our own made breakfast on the porch. They had a small pier and we rented a... More

I wanted to take a moment to share this while it is fresh in my mind as we just returned from a week's stay at the lodge. It's hard to know where to begin because it was simply awesome!! First of all, the location of the cabins is right on the south shore of Lake Mary and the beauty of... More

We just returned from a great Hiking weekend in the Mammoth Lakes Basin. There are only 3 Lodges in the upper Lakes Basin and Crystal Crag Lodge is one of them. The Lodge is set along the Lake Shore below Crystal Crag. We prefer staying up in the Lakes Basin versus town because the scenery is breathtaking with Spiky Granit... More

I just wanted to share that i thought the vacation I experienced at the crystal crag cabins was second to none. The staff was very polite and accomodating. They love well behaved doggies and even gave our dogs Crystal Crag dog tags with the cabin location we had in the unfortunate incident if they were to be lost. I would... More

My husband and I have been to the Sierras several times before, staying in both Yosemite and Kings Canyon. This was our first trip to Mammoth and boy did we have a good time! We stayed In the Virginia cabin from June 11th-16th 2012. We were surprised at the beauty of Mammoth lakes and yet the easy convenience to town... More

Stayed in cozy Mamie cabin with everything we needed, staff was attentive and great. Snow, weather and mountains; beauty beyond description. Booking for next year. Oh and BTW, the fishing was great.

My husband and I stayed in the Garnet cabin (1 bedroom, lakeview) with our 2 children (6.5 and 1.5) at the end of June. Tons of snow still, but Lake Mary had melted at least. We loved the cabin--very unpretentious and cozy. It is small--we had to keep shifting our luggage from room to room depending on the time of... More

My husband and I, along with our pup, traveled up to Mammoth in October 2010 and stayed 4 nights at Crystal Crag Lodge............which really is a group of cabins of various sizes. The area is just beautiful and did not feel crowded, but it was October! Cabins - we stayed in Twin which is a one bedroom one bath cabin... More

Group of housekeeping cabins on Lake Mary, Mammoth Lakes, Ca. Even though a bit funky like most housekeeping cabins (what was my grandmother's veneer end table doing in the bathroom?), cabins & grounds are well-maintained. Beds are unusually comfortable & linens very nice. Service was excellent & cheerful. The problem for me was the location, not the resort. This beautiful... More

We are 22 cabins of various sizes set right alongside beautiful Lake Mary, just minutes from the town of Mammoth Lakes, but in a world of our own. Incomparable setting and views and some of the best hiking, biking, and fishing anywhere. Fully equipped but not fancy. The beds have now been replaced.
