Our recent stay at Crystal Crag Resort cabins was fantastic! The entire Staff were absolutely wonderful to us and went way beyond the call of duty to make sure we had a memorable stay. The Mamoth Lakes area is a uniquely beautiful place and offers an outdoor mountain experience 2nd to none (except maybe the Canadian Rockies). Crystal Crag Resort... more

We just spent a week at CCL....obviously the scenery is out of this world! The cabins are just rustic enough to make us feel comfortable. Our cabin was clean, cozy and perfectly situated. What better location could one ask for in Mammoth Lakes? The crackling fireplace added the perfect ambience, and how nice of them to provide the firewood. The... more

We just had a week at CCL and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful, comfortable location. We have been going there for several years and have tried several different cabins. We finally "earned" our way to a lakeview cabin and it was absolutely wonderful. Yes, they are rustic and have their creaks and problems but to wake up and... more

My family went up to lake Mary not knowing what to expect besides the beautiful scenery. That was true as expected but the $$$ for such a small cabin is way over priced. $180 a night for a 1 bedroom. 2 people can not be in the kitchen at the same time and be able to get by each other.... more

We wanted to respond to this reviewer’s complaints. First, as we make clear on our website and in our other materials, our claim to fame is our amazing location and proximity to and beautiful views of Lake Mary, not the decor of our cabins. Because we can only be open 4 months each year and because we accept pets, our...

We had really wonderful stay at Crystal Crag. The manager Pam is very nice and accomodating. The lodge is on the shore of Lake Mary. We had very convienient fishing off their private deck. The whole place is absolutely beautiful. We spent four days, and still had a lot of place that we did not have time to go. Now... more

Reading conflicting reviews of this and other wonderful places we have loved is really astounding. Crystal Crag Lodge is one of the most amazing experiences available anywhere. Not because of the carpet or the drapes or the architectural beauty. No, it's all about the outdoor setting, the views, the activities, and the magic of Lake Mary. There is almost nowhere... more

DON'T MISS THIS EXPERIENCE! I just booked my 7th trip to Crystal Crag Lodge and I have been thrilled with everything the last 6 visits (except for the one time I didn't catch a big fish) and don't expect anything different this summer. The staff(which has been the same for the last 4 years) has been great and very accomodating.... more

My husband and I usually stay at the Convict Lake Cabins, but this time, we thought we would try something different. We had 2 friends from England with us, so off we went to Mammoth. We stayed in the Virginia cabin, and for $345.00 a night, you would think that the cabin would be in a lot better shape. To... more

The curtains in the Virginia cabin are currently being replaced, and the tile has already been repaired. Virginia is one of our most popular cabins. It has a truly awesome view of the lake. We recommend you try it. We think you will love it!

We've been going to the Eastern Sierras for years and decided to try Crystal Crag this time as we now have a dog. Also this was our first time staying in Mammoth. We made our reservations about 2 months ago, and then 4 weeks ago our dog injured himself and we thought he would require surgery so I called to... more

We would like to respond to this guest about his list of dissatisfactions. First, our cancellation policy is very clear, and most of our guests really appreciate it! We will refund 100% of funds received through re-rental of canceled cabins. We usually are able to re-rent because our cabins are so popular, so most people get all of their money...

We stayed for 3 nights & wished we could have stayed longer. The staff was extremely helpful & friendly. I'm so glad we opted to stay on Lake Mary verses staying in an ordinary hotel in town. The cabins are rustic, but I think that adds to the charm of Crystal Crag Lodge. It reminded me of childhood vacations back... more
