We had really wonderful stay at Crystal Crag. The manager Pam is very nice and accomodating. The lodge is on the shore of Lake Mary. We had very convienient fishing off their private deck. The whole place is absolutely beautiful. We spent four days, and still had a lot of place that we did not have time to go. Now... more

Reading conflicting reviews of this and other wonderful places we have loved is really astounding. Crystal Crag Lodge is one of the most amazing experiences available anywhere. Not because of the carpet or the drapes or the architectural beauty. No, it's all about the outdoor setting, the views, the activities, and the magic of Lake Mary. There is almost nowhere... more

DON'T MISS THIS EXPERIENCE! I just booked my 7th trip to Crystal Crag Lodge and I have been thrilled with everything the last 6 visits (except for the one time I didn't catch a big fish) and don't expect anything different this summer. The staff(which has been the same for the last 4 years) has been great and very accomodating.... more

My husband and I usually stay at the Convict Lake Cabins, but this time, we thought we would try something different. We had 2 friends from England with us, so off we went to Mammoth. We stayed in the Virginia cabin, and for $345.00 a night, you would think that the cabin would be in a lot better shape. To... more

We've been going to the Eastern Sierras for years and decided to try Crystal Crag this time as we now have a dog. Also this was our first time staying in Mammoth. We made our reservations about 2 months ago, and then 4 weeks ago our dog injured himself and we thought he would require surgery so I called to... more

We stayed for 3 nights & wished we could have stayed longer. The staff was extremely helpful & friendly. I'm so glad we opted to stay on Lake Mary verses staying in an ordinary hotel in town. The cabins are rustic, but I think that adds to the charm of Crystal Crag Lodge. It reminded me of childhood vacations back... more

This is a great place for families to vacation where you have stupendous scenic beauty, a great variety of hikes available, excellent fishing, and wonderful photographic opportunities. At Crystal Crag Lodge, you'll find a staff who wants you to have a wonderful stay. They throw a Sunday afternoon party for all visitors to meet each other. Upon leaving, they give... more

We have seen Crystal Crag before but never stayed so we made this year be our first. The staff was incredible. If we needed anything or had any questions, they were there for us. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Nestled in the trees around Lake Mary, the setting is second to none. With the mountain... more

Like many, we chose Crystal Crag for our dog, but we fell in love with the Horseshoe cabin immediately and have returned every fall for several years. The owners and staff and other guests are always friendly and helpful. We come up for the magnificant fall colors but did not mind spending a relaxing day (scrabble! fireplace! good books!) in... more

We stayed at Crystal Crag in June 2007 and loved it so much, came back and stayed again in September. My husband caught so many fish in his tube, including a 6 pounder and he was in heaven. The owners and staff were as friendly and helpful as can be, and even had a BBQ for everyone. Our 2 golden... more
