The one positive is how close everything is here and the rooms were pretty nice, but a bit small for being condos. We got a 2 bedroom, but there was not enough storage area for clothes, etc so everything was strewn on the floor along with our snowboarding gear. Restaurants are also close by so you don't have to go... more

When I go to Mammoth, I always stay at the Village because the front desk staff always makes me feel very welcome and comfortable, but the last time I went to Mammoth, I stayed across the street at the new Westin hotel just to check it out. The room was nice, but not as big as the rooms at the... more

My wife and two children stayed here for 3 nights on Presidents Day weekend for skiing. Granted this is one of the busiest weekends of the season. The staff tried to be helpful and I would give them points for trying..however they were overwhelmed. They took a long time to get ourt Ski passes and then mixed up the dates.... more

We did not have a great stay at the Village our second time around. With the Westin across the street and newer hotel and condos being built, this place really needs an upgrade. We could have stayed at the Westin for less money and many more amenities. We could not get internet the whole time we were there, even after... more

We loved our stay there. The full kitchen was well equipped from utensils to dishes - it allowed us to have a very nice Thanksgiving dinner away from home. It also came with a humidifier and free shuttle service to the slopes. We never had to drive once we arrived- shops and restaurants all were within walking distance. So worth... more

While searching for places to stay at Mammoth, it was hard to find something that didn't look like it was out of 'Little House on the Prairie' so I was very pleased to come across The Village. We arrived at the Village to be checked into Lincoln House. Now I didn't realise at the time that there are 3 different... more

We planned a 2 night stay here to break up our journey from Yosemite to Las Vegas. We were not expecting much, but were absolutely delighted with the room, the Village lodging, and indeed the entire "resort" of Mammoth. All the people in Mammoth, and I mean everyone, was really friendly and the hotel staff in particular were all smiles... more

Just returned from a three-night stay at the Village. We had paid for four nights, but after three sleepless nights, we decided to head home a day early. First, the good things: very convenient location; we liked the restaurants and shops (but don't eat at Hennessy's- it's the worst bar food ever). Our two young kids loved the pool and... more

We enjoyed 4 days at The Village at Mammoth in March. The location was so convenient, compared to past ski trips when we had to drive to the lifts or take the shuttle. The Village is located next to the gondola. There are numerous restaurants, bars, shops, Starbucks, and other services nearby, so you don't need to drive unless you... more

Booked through mammothmountain.com almost 3 months earlier to get "decent" rates for a 1 BR condo. It was very well equipped, modern and super convenient. We could see the gondola station from our windows. My daughter made a snowman right on the patio. Jacuzzi was nice and not crowded. Can't beat the convenience of underground parking especially when there was... more
