This inn is quaint and comfortable and the location is awesome with views that take you away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We especially love the suites that offer a kitchen and small dining area. Very close to a lot of fantastic restaurants. The staff (Rudy & Janelle) were fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful. They... More

friendliest staff ever and extremely comfortable rooms. The suites are ample, with lovely views to the woods behind the building. Walking distance to everything you might need including shopping, snacks, bakery, coffee, dinner, breakfast, post office, shuttle! The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. The sitting room was cozy and quiet, a good place to relax.

FIRST THE PROS: A convenient location and the manager was friendly and helpful. Our room was good size and very tastefully done with a four poster bed. There was a very large window with a nice view of a pine forest and a small wood (electric) stove which is actually the heater. NOW THE CONS: The mattress was so hard... More

While the staff is friendly, the location central the breakfast decent I would not recommend this place unless you are okay with run down accommodations. The place in is desperate need of deferred maintenance. The "hot tub" is kinda of gross. With some better upkeep and updating the place could be great.

Other reviewers have written about the hospitality they received from the staff, but they only spoke about 10 words to my husband and I. We did get in late so our key was left for us. The room was tiny, the bed looked like it was about to fall down and the mattress had two sunken grooves in it. While... More

Stayed at Cinnamon Bear as part of an epic 1,500 mile road trip around California staying in 8 different hotels (including 3 5 star properties) and we both agreed, this was no.1 on the list. The warm hospitality of the managers couldn't have been better - they welcomed us no nicely and chatted to us for ages as like we... More

Very nice hotel in a lovely place. We stayed there for one night, perfect stop between Death Valley and Yosemite National Park on our roadtrip. Great room with a fireplace and a fresh bathroom. The staff is very nice, serve great breakfast and seemed to really make an effort for us to enjoy our stay there. An extra hands up... More

We had visited Cinnamon Bear many years ago and enjoyed the hospitality then, even more so now. We stayed three nights for a mini hiking trip in Mammoth. We decided to visit a day early so I called Cinnamon Bear and they were able to accommodate us. We arrived at 830 pm and there was an envelope and key waiting... More

We stayed for two nights, the location is really good, near to restaurants and gas station. The place is very peaceful and quite, very good hospitality. The breakfast is basic but good. No swimming pool, they don't have wifi in suite rooms. Overall we liked the experience

My wife does the research for our road trips so I haven't read previous reviews of this hotel, but as I type this and see references to previous whinges I'm a little surprised. Four Cold Englishers arrived in a snow shower (California - late May - no-one told us about snow 😡) to a warm and friendly greeting. Complimentary wine,... More
