If I had booked the Cinnamon Bear Inn directly with the establishment, I may be writing a different review. It seems the Cinnamon Bear Inn prefers you as a client if you pay top dollar, as opposed to the discounted rates they receive when you book with a third party (i.e. Hotels.com, Travelocity, etc.). They don't care if you specifically... More

This is a very quaint and reasonably priced motel in Mammoth. I wouldn't call it an "inn" or a "bed and breakfast" as it definitely felt like a motel. The room was quite clean and the bed was very comfortable. The linens were worn. We had reserved online and booked their large suite. They then emailed and said (after the... More

I'm sorry what you wanted wasn't available. My problem is that "the large suite" isn't online. Last year we sold the building with our large suites. I would really like to know the way this guest booked as I will correct the problem. Thanks for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed breakfast. More

Our new place to stay while in Mammoth. The staff could not have been nicer. The rooms were clean, and spacious. We had a fireplace in ours. We also had a dining room table that we used to play board games that they had in the lobby. We will definitely be back, next time with the furkids, because we know... More

This is our stay of choice when we are in the Mammoth area. Nestled among the pines and off the main road makes this a serene place to relax before heading to your entertainment of choice. The Managers/Staff, which consists of Rudy, Janelle and Lauren, are wonderful, friendly and accommodating. While quaint and cozy, the place could use some TLC.

Pros: -good breakfast -friendly staff -convenient location -room ok -good value for the price we paid There is a hot tub but we did not try it. Cons: -the outside needs some renovations (no big deal) -wifi does not work in the room, need to go to the reception area -small parking

We enjoyed our stay at the Inn very much. It's an older building, and while it has been nicely redecorated I think it could use a bit more work and perhaps more of a remodel. The bathroom was rather poorly done ... caulking around the tub messy and fixtures quite old. Water too easily leaked on to the floor as... More

Slightly tired accomodation with aging plumbing. Simple breakfast but pleasant enough. Helpful staff and a hot tub in unexpected surroundings.Comfortable rooms with a stove but doubtful if for guest operation.

We needed a place to stay before going backpacking and The Cinnamon Bear Inn was more than comfortable. Each room is a one bedroom with living area, kitchen and dining table. It was clean and spacious and very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was served in the "lobby" where the office is. We were met at the door... More

My husband and I stayed one night on our way to Yosemite. The room was very clean with a view of beautiful pines. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was included, but it consisted of coffee, two pancakes and a slice of apple or self-serve cold cereal. The Inn is located behind the outlets, and a block to Slocum's Restaurant,... More
