This is an old and shabby motel. It is not worth the $98.00 per night we paid. The room was clean. However, it wouldn’t have taken much to spruce it up a bit. There was a knob missing on a dresser drawer. It is a bit difficult to open a drawer when there is no knob. A knob, a screw,... more

I've made numerous trips to Mammoth Lakes and this hotel was by far the worst ever. We've stayed at every lodge, the Best Western, Alpenhof, you name it. This was beyond the worst. I've never had a lousier time in MY LIFE. Wanted to sleep in the car. Ended up leaving the mountain early when we couldn't find anyplace else... more

I have stayed in the hotel dozens of times. It is safe to stay here. Though it is a bit worn around the edges, it is clean and quiet for a basic hotel. The beds are comfortable enough. It has all the amenities that you might need: wi-fi, refrigerator, microwave, TV, safe and underground parking. I believe there is a... more

Unsafe and unclean (see pics). Although I didn't notice at first, the shower curtain hung too low and draped across the bathtup - I nearly slipped when getting in. Also, stains, dirt, human hair, and missing-paint areas were on the walls. A customer could certainly be harmed - I almost was. (And I'm a physically fit skier!) more

It was a horrible experience! It was a last minute trip and they had vacency so we booked it. We came in really late and the guy was a bit of jerk. The parking garage was horrible and iced over, leaking and a real pain to park a large truck in. That was just the start of our experience. The... more

I came here in summer on the way to Yosemite and all I can say is that I was satisifed. It met my expectations of what a good hotel should be. I really liked the room, but I did find it a little stange that carpet was on all the walls and celeing? Maybe thats for insulation in the winter... more

I booked this hotel last minute by mistake, I was looking for another hotel with a blue sign! The entire hotel smelled, not only our room. The hallways were dingy with dirt and scuffs on the walls. The room was gross! The box spring had about a 3 foot rip in it and the guts were exposed. The sheets had... more

I stayed there because there were no other places for a last minute overnight in the area, unless I was willing to pay for a 2 night minimum in a local condo. Next time I will pay for the extra night and stay someplace else. - The room smelled like old baby wipes. - The door to the small and... more

(attempted) to stay here for a weekend trip in Mammoth from LA, CA. This motel was terrible. It was priced at $180/night (which is crazy for a travelodge). The room they provided us (last one available) had an outdoor entrance which had been left open all day and night, and was approx 40 degrees by the time we arrived that... more

We had to travel with our dog and this was the only place we could find in Mammoth on short notice. The Travelodge website says that it is AAA approved but I don't believe it. Maybe about 10 years ago. The whole bad experience started when we tried to find a place to park. All of the spots out front... more
