My wife, our two children, and I stayed three nights in early August. The good: - Quiet neighborhood - Helpful, courteous staff - Good continental breakfast (especially the coffee and coffee cake) - Proximity to biking trails and ski lift - Refrigerator, DVD player and coffee maker in room The bad: - Distance from central Mammoth (not much of a... Decent but not amazing. The wifi in this hotel is really really really slow and hard to get a connection - strangely, the best place is in the basement restaurant, it was impossible to connect from the upstairs rooms. Also there are lots of stairs to climb to enter the hotel & to get to upper rooms so if you... More

Old-world charm. Nice comfortable rooms with a very nice breakfast and open from 7am to 10am. The place was packed at 9:30, but they were refreshing the food constantly. Very attentive. Across the street from the Village. A couple of miles from the entrance to Devi'ls post pile and Reds Meadows. You must take a shuttle, but worth it. Cozy... More

This inn is centrally located in town, close to everything you need for skiing and mountain biking. It's also just up the hill from the designer outlets. The room was very cozy; the bed was "just right" and the bathroom amenities were ample. Only thing disconcerting was the coffee cream and sugar packets seem to be missing or not to... More

This is one of the rare work trips where I genuinely enjoyed spending time out and about. This hotel is unlike any other I've ever been. It's got a unique old-world feel and to be totally honest, it was pretty cool. It's right within the Mammoth Lakes Ski Resort area. It's across the street from shopping, great restaurants, and of... My expectations for this place were very, very low because of the reviews. We stayed here in mid May 2015, which is a shoulder season here, as it's far too late in the year for skiing, and just a bit too early for the main summer activities. One main thing you need to know about Austria Hof is that they... More

It is ski resort and too far from Yosemitie valley ,in summer time there are several lodges which have low price and some condos which offer good services. There are several places to see: 1-Twin lake( possible for kayaking with the rentals) 2-Mammoth lake(very beautiful view over its fall) The followings are located at the same area and you can... Based on some reviews, my expectations were not too high. But both my husband and I were impressed once we got to our condo. First, the location is perfect; within the little village right on top of restaurants, shops, and even a Starbucks. You just take the elevator to 1st floor and you are in middle of a promenade full... More

...right next to the ski resort, nice beds, scenic drive to the lodge, lots of thoughtful gestures like having water, fruit and even toothpaste available for guests at check in...... I can go on and on. In short, our stay was very enjoyable and we wished we could have spent some more time at the lodge. Don't understand some of... More

Stayed just one night and had a very enjoyable stay. The room was'nt huge but the bed was really comfortable and we had a jacuzzi bath and a fridge in the room. The restaurant and bar wern't open as out of season but had a good meal in the town. Just be warned to take any food into your room... More
