Old is what comes to mind when rating this hotel. I knew we were in trouble when we were handed an actual "key" to our hotel room. Since there was 5 of us I didn't have many choices in Mammoth since most of the hotels there only allow 4 people per room. The "kitchen" in this place was ridiculous. No... More

Thank you for taking time to comment on your recent stay at Sierra Lodge. We are glad that we were able to accommodate your family of 5 when few (no) other places could. While actual “real” keys may be falling out of fashion, we find our guests appreciate the simplicity and dependability they provide. To clarify, the Sierra Lodge does... More

Fine for a night or two. What we liked: comfy beds, balcony, hot tub that was just the right temperature, basic but filling breakfast. Our room was spacious and had a fan. Employees were courteous. Lots of entrances and exits. Bathroom had two large counters and fluffy towels. What we didn't like: right on Main Street so traffic noise at... More

Thank you for taking time to comment on your recent stay. We are glad to hear that you found the beds comfy, the rooms spacious and the employees courteous. I am sorry to hear your screen did not close. We continue to work on updates for the property. The plates used for breakfast service are biodegradable and we believe may... More

I liked this hotel and my room very much. I even had a little kitchen corner with the chance to take my breakfast and eat it in my room, having a little table and two chairs. Fortunatelly there was a ice machine so i was ready for the death valley.

Were booked to spend 2 nights there this week but checked out after first night. No A/C anywhere in the building means it's as hot inside as it is outside (30c/90f) in summer. Not pleasant. Manager was helpful but we went somewhere else instead

We stayed here for 6 nights in June. We stayed here the year previously do pretty much knew what to expect. Older building but kept clean. The rooms are very spacious not cramped at all. Breakfast is basic but it's included so have a bagel and some coffee and get on with your day. This year we were traveling with... More

Rooms are clean and spacious. Community room is nice with fire place. Decent view from the hot tub. No elevator but plenty of ski lockers in covered parking garage. Rustic in need of some updates but overall very good for the price.

One night stop on the way to Lake Tahoe..... It's a 3 star at best but clean safe and has a good bagel selection in the morning that kids will like.... But nothing fancy at all if you are planning on spending time then this is not the place but to sleep and get back in the ride then yes!

Our three night stay with you was relaxing and tranquil. We were able to enjoy quiet nights. Room cleanliness was excellent. Some upgrading of the breakfast would improve the overall stay. two of the toasters were damaged. More fruit would be nice.

Our stay here was perfect for us, quiet and comfortable. The place was very clean and tidy, and we liked that it was one-of-a-kind, not a big corporate hotel. The king room was really spacious with everything and more than most. The bed was very comfortable, just like home. Lots of open closet space to lay out luggage, hang clothes,... More

Me and a buddy booked a room here for the Opening of Trout season weekend. We booked early so it wasnt a last minute hook up. First we showed up here about 3 hours before check in time and expecting to be told to come back. But instead were told that the room was ready and that we could go... More
