We stopped here for 2 nights in June during our road trip of California. I was pleased with the room as it was nice and spacious and there was a kitchenette for us to store water and food etc. We were advised to remove all items from the car in case of bears!! It scared me a little but we... More

Booked a room at the last minute before a backpacking trip out of Mammoth. Nice-sized rooms, clean, comfortable with free wi-fi and continental breakfast. Good location, right at a shuttle stop, and between the Village and town. Decor a little dated, and hot tub could be a teeny bit bigger, but overall solid. Would I stay again? Yep.

Friendly customer service, clean spacious room, dog-friendly. We were very comfortable here and had good access to the outside to walk our dogs. Not much of an area for a dog walk but the motel itself was perfect. Continental breakfast was good and coffee was available at all times. A big plus! Would definitely come again.

The rooms were clean but needed a lot of updating. They were doing some work in the hallways so maybe some renovations will give this place a nice face lift. The breakfast was sub par to say the least. If you want bread for breakfast you'll like this breakfast.Probably wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

The decor was a little dated but the room was clean and had everything we needed and expected. There was a small balcony overlooking the main road. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise as we hadn't realised it was included. There were muffins, fruit, toast, bagels, cereals, pastries, drinks so plenty of choice in our opinion. Not a lot of... Old is what comes to mind when rating this hotel. I knew we were in trouble when we were handed an actual "key" to our hotel room. Since there was 5 of us I didn't have many choices in Mammoth since most of the hotels there only allow 4 people per room. The "kitchen" in this place was ridiculous. No... More

Thank you for taking time to comment on your recent stay at Sierra Lodge. We are glad that we were able to accommodate your family of 5 when few (no) other places could. While actual “real” keys may be falling out of fashion, we find our guests appreciate the simplicity and dependability they provide. To clarify, the Sierra Lodge does... More

Fine for a night or two. What we liked: comfy beds, balcony, hot tub that was just the right temperature, basic but filling breakfast. Our room was spacious and had a fan. Employees were courteous. Lots of entrances and exits. Bathroom had two large counters and fluffy towels. What we didn't like: right on Main Street so traffic noise at... More

I liked this hotel and my room very much. I even had a little kitchen corner with the chance to take my breakfast and eat it in my room, having a little table and two chairs. Fortunatelly there was a ice machine so i was ready for the death valley.

Were booked to spend 2 nights there this week but checked out after first night. No A/C anywhere in the building means it's as hot inside as it is outside (30c/90f) in summer. Not pleasant. Manager was helpful but we went somewhere else instead

We stayed here for 6 nights in June. We stayed here the year previously do pretty much knew what to expect. Older building but kept clean. The rooms are very spacious not cramped at all. Breakfast is basic but it's included so have a bagel and some coffee and get on with your day. This year we were traveling with... More
